The Keeper of Stories There is a place inside you that remembers. Not to keep you living in the past, but to help you understand who you are becoming. The Keeper of Stories is a gentle, heart-centered meditation for listening to the wisdom of your lived experience. In this practice, you’ll be guided to: Settle into the body and breath Create space in the heart for what has been Sit with a memory or season with compassion Release what no longer needs to be carried Integrate the quiet wisdom your story holds This meditation is for moments when you feel reflective, tender, or ready to soften around your past. It offers a safe space to honor what shaped you — without being defined by it. You are not your story. You are the one who carries its meaning. Let this be a place where your memories can rest… and where your heart can choose what it carries forward.

The Keeper of the Stories Find a comfortable position,

Seated or lying down.

Close your eyes or soften your gaze.

Take a moment to notice the rhythms of your body.

Your breath,

The cadence of your heart,

The vibrations underneath your finger pads.

Notice them without changing.

Just witness.

When you are ready,

Take a nice,

Full,

Nourishing breath.

Inhale through the nose and exhale out the mouth.

Do that again.

Nice,

Big,

Rich,

Nourishing breath.

Inhale through the nose.

Exhale out the mouth.

Feel the weight of your body.

Feel the bones heavy on the earth.

Let yourself arrive.

There's a place inside of you that remembers.

Not just the circumstances of your life,

But the feelings,

The moments,

The quiet truths that shape you.

This is the place that holds your stories.

This is the place where everything you've lived can rest for a moment.

As you breathe,

Imagine a soft light glowing in the center of your chest.

This light is your listening presence.

It does not judge.

It does not rush.

It simply receives.

Allow a memory,

A season,

Or a story to gently rise into your awareness.

There is no need to analyze it.

Just notice how it feels in your body.

Where do you sense it?

Is it heavy,

Warm,

Tender,

Or quiet?

Let the breath move through that place.

Imagine you are sitting with part of you that lived this story.

You might silently say,

I see you.

I hear you.

Thank you for what you have carried.

There is nothing to prove.

Nothing to defend.

Nothing to hold anymore.

Just presence.

As the breath continues,

Sense which part of this story feels complete.

And which part feels ready to be released.

You don't need to decide with the mind.

Trust the body.

Trust the heart.

Let what is no longer needed softly loosen its grip.

And let what holds wisdom settle into you like a quiet seed of knowing.

Feel yourself here,

Now.

Breathing.

Alive.

Not defined by the past,

But informed by it.

You are not your story.

You are the one who carries its meaning.

You are the one who extends the roots of your story.

To make connections.

To draw in nourishment.

To gently reach,

Lift,

And intertwine your love.

When you are ready,

Take one slow,

Nourishing breath in.

And a long,

Steady breath out.

Gently bring your awareness back to the room.

Wiggle your fingers.

And toes.

And when it feels right,

Open your eyes.
