This spoken reflection explores what it truly means to meet the wound — beyond theory, into the body and energy field where healing actually happens. An energy block isn’t just emotional baggage; it’s frozen life force from moments we couldn’t safely feel. Through somatic awareness, presence, and compassion, the block begins to thaw — not as a concept, but as movement, trembling, and tears. This talk guides you through the process of meeting those frozen parts with tenderness rather than fear. It weaves trauma-informed understanding with energetic insight, inviting you to stay with yourself when old pain surfaces — to choose embodiment over dissociation, love over avoidance. Each time you meet the wound, you reclaim the energy that was never lost — only waiting to return home.

Hello,

Welcome to Janarji Healing.

When people hear inner child healing,

They often think it's about remembering childhood memories or forgiving their parents.

But that's not it.

The real work happens in the body,

In the energy field.

An energy block or trapped energy isn't just emotional baggage.

It's a frozen pocket of life force,

The moment something became too painful to feel,

And your system said,

I can't handle this right now.

The body protected you by freezing that energy.

And that's what we feel decades later as tension,

Numbness,

Anxiety,

Dis-ease,

Or silence.

The block isn't the enemy.

It's the part of you that held on so you could survive.

And when I say meeting the wound,

I mean you're finally encountering that frozen pocket again,

Not with your mind,

But through your body.

You might feel heat,

Shaking,

Tears,

Nausea,

Gagging,

Even laughter.

It's your body breaking the contract of silence.

And you're not reliving trauma.

You're releasing that distortion that formed around it.

And that distortion lives in your energy field and nervous system,

The two mirrors of your lived experience.

And as it releases,

You might feel chaotic,

Disoriented,

Or confused.

That's normal.

That's thaw.

And when you stay with it,

Through the breath,

And ground,

And allow,

What was once pain becomes movement again.

And movement is life.

And trauma isn't what happened to you.

It's happened,

It's what happened inside you when your system became overwhelmed.

It's the body saying,

Too much,

Too fast,

Too soon.

And when that happens,

The nervous system compartmentalizes,

Freezing sensations,

Emotions,

And memories to keep you safe.

And from an energetic perspective,

Trauma is a misalignment between the physical body and the field.

Healing is the realignment.

Bringing those frozen parts home.

And we don't do it all at once.

Healing happens through titration.

Touching the pain,

Little by little,

And then returning to a resource.

It's like back and forth until the body learns that it can stay.

And that's how capacity grows.

Not through force,

But through safety.

And for me,

I came to energy healing at my lowest point.

After leaving a 33-year career facing discrimination,

Retaliation,

And the collapse of everything familiar.

I spent decades in therapy,

Group therapy,

Al-Anon,

And spirituality,

Believing I was healing.

But I was spiritually bypassing.

I could talk about pain.

I could teach about pain.

But I couldn't feel it.

Energy work changed that.

It showed me that healing isn't ascension.

It's descent.

It's the soul returning to the body.

The body remembering safety after years of bracing for impact.

And every time I began to meet a wound,

It began with a trigger.

Someone said something,

Did something,

Or didn't.

And suddenly,

I was back inside the freeze.

Most of us run from triggers.

We nom,

Rationalize,

Spiritualize.

But a trigger isn't punishment.

It's invitation.

It's the body saying,

The past is ready to leave now.

And when we meet that moment consciously,

Not by analyzing,

But by feeling,

The trapped energy begins to move.

That's what energy healing allows.

It creates space for what's been buried to finally rise.

And healing doesn't just happen because we cry.

It happens when we stay.

When we stay with the part that's hurting,

The scared child,

The frozen body,

Instead of leaving again.

And every time we stay,

We send a new signal to the nervous system.

I'm not abandoning you anymore.

And dissociation is self-abandonment.

It's the number one block of the heart chakra.

And as children,

We learn to disconnect from the body to survive what felt unbearable.

Our system decided,

It's safer to leave myself than to feel this.

But that same strategy follows us into adulthood.

We dissociate whenever we're triggered by conflict or rejection,

Silence,

Intimacy.

And the body reenacts the old separation.

And healing begins when we notice that impulse to flee and instead choose to stay,

To breathe,

To feel,

And to be with once what felt impossible.

And triggers stop becoming something to fear.

They become something to follow.

Sacred invitations to return to the heart.

Because healing isn't about avoiding what hurts.

It's about bringing love there.

And when an energy block releases,

It's not just emotional.

It's biological and energetic regeneration.

Those trapped energies shape our self-defeating patterns,

Our limiting beliefs,

Our loops of fear and scarcity.

After I released that 14-year-old's anger,

Behaviors I'd carried my whole life began to fall away,

Especially the victimhood I once left inside.

Because when energy moves,

The body remembers how to heal.

There's an intelligence inside every one of us that knows how to return to balance once that obstruction is gone.

You don't have to fix yourself.

You just have to free the energy.

And your system will know what to do.

So,

If you're meeting your own wound right now,

Remember,

The goal isn't to be healed.

It's to be here.

Each time you meet that part of you,

You reclaim energy that had been frozen in time.

You strengthen your field,

Your nervous system,

Your sense of self.

This is energy work.

It's not about escape.

It's about embodiment.

And that's where freedom begins.
