I invite you to settle,

To make yourself comfortable.

Lay down if you feel called to laying down and just letting go,

Not having to hold yourself,

Completely surrendered and receiving.

Force it up nice and tall like an antenna rooting down into the earth through the root chakra at the base of the spine,

Deep into the earth and ascending high through the crown up to the ethers,

Your antenna connecting to the universe,

To the highest,

Most benevolent force that is here to serve you.

Whichever position you find yourself in,

Settle,

Begin to settle,

To relax,

To accept that you are here,

That you chose this,

To go deeper into what you chose,

Trusting your free will to take you higher to where you're meant to go,

To manifest in the highest and best way possible.

Allow yourself to let go,

To release control,

To release striving and let yourself be carried and held on this journey home.

Notice your feet,

Your toes,

Your legs,

Your hands,

Your whole body.

Is there anticipation?

Is there a desire to move,

To go somewhere else,

To quit,

To jump onto the next thing?

Is there a restless mind like a little tree frog,

Often wanting to go from one thing to the next before it's finished,

Looking for the thing that will bring the most success,

Completion,

Satisfaction?

What would it look like to give yourself full permission to just be here,

Nowhere else?

To just be here,

To let this be enough.

Bring your attention to your ears.

What do you hear in your surroundings?

What subtle tones are you picking up on in my voice?

Subtle frequencies.

Allow those subtle frequencies in the background to bring you deeper into this present moment.

Notice your body.

How are you holding yourself?

Is there ease?

Is there more settling?

Or is there still the subtle urge to go somewhere else,

To do more?

This sacred space that you set aside for yourself is your time not to do more,

But to just be more,

To receive,

To allow,

To deepen and create trust in what is,

What is now.

Begin to settle deeper.

Relax a little more.

Relax your hands,

Your fingers.

Open and close the mouth.

Let tension go.

Relax the jaw.

Nothing to say right now.

This is your time to listen,

To receive,

To be held.

Nothing to hold right now.

You have permission to let go.

Relax a little deeper.

Feel any tension washing away.

And if you notice the tension even more as we bring focus and awareness to it,

That's okay.

It's coming up to be seen.

Healing happens and it starts by first noticing what is there.

So trust your humble beginnings.

Your letting go of the layers that stop you from feeling peaceful,

Relaxed and rested in this body.

Relax your legs.

Relax them even more.

Your arms.

Let them get heavy.

Nothing to carry.

Let it all go.

Be still.

Bring your awareness to your forehead.

Allow the eyebrows,

The little muscles of the forehead to just unwind,

To settle.

Nothing to see right now.

The eyelids,

Relax and close.

Bring the tongue to the roof of the mouth.

Unclench the jaw.

Let the lips loosely close.

Softly.

Softly loosen.

Let go.

Nothing to say right now.

Just breathe.

Just be in your body.

Let this be enough.

Let this be enough work for today.

For this moment at least.

Let this be enough.

Just be here.

Relaxing even more with every passing breath.

Begin to breathe deeper,

Longer breaths.

In through the nose,

Deep breath in.

Clearing breath out through the mouth.

In through the nose.

In through the nose.

Full permission out through the mouth.

Full permission to release in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Last one with an audible sigh,

A release of freedom,

Of relief.

Inhale.

Big exhale.

How good does it feel to let it all go,

Let it all out?

Taking it out from inside of you,

That which is too heavy to carry.

How good does it feel to give yourself permission?

How loving is this practice?

Continuing to breathe in and out long breaths.

Going ever deeper into relaxation,

Into stillness,

Into healing.

Your body heals as you rest.

Your cells regenerate as you rest.

Let the eyelids get heavier.

Stay with the deep long breath.

In through the nose and out through the nose.

Continue with your breath.

Letting the breath be the healer.

Letting the breath give you what you really need right now because it's within you,

Within the power of your own breath.

You trust it.

How does it look to trust your breath to go deeper into what it's asking of you?

Taking in more oxygen and clearing away excess energy.

Deeper breaths.

Deeper breaths.

Breathing deep into any tension,

Any scarcity.

Releasing out breath.

Even to soften.

To let go even deeper than you thought was possible.

We often hold on subtly to control.

It's just right there in the background,

Just a little.

Just that little holding on creates tension,

Disturbs the mind,

Disturbs our peace or wellness because we're not totally free.

Surrendered.

So how does it look for you to go deeper?

To surrender even more.

More than you thought was possible to surrender.

To let go of,

Will someone,

Something catch me?

To let go of even this question and still surrender into not knowing,

Into the mystery of it all.

Let yourself be held by the emptiness that created this universe,

That this universe came from.

Trust in the space,

The spaciousness.

Stay with your breath.

We're going to take a few moments now of silence.

Use the space to keep breathing,

To really explore the power and potential of your breath to heal you,

To serve you,

To be exactly what you need right now.

Gently constrict the back of the throat for you,

Jaiyu breath,

Creating the sound of the ocean.

This allows you to take in more oxygen.

Continue to deepen your breath,

Bringing it to any parts of your body that want attention,

That feel tense.

Take a deep breath in through the nose and a big clearing breath out through the mouth.

Four more times at your own pace,

In through the nose,

Out through the mouth.

Giving yourself permission to release.

Really taking your time with your breath.

Last one.

Take a deep breath in,

This time hold the breath at the top.

Bring the focus to the third eye,

Hold.

Exhale.

Take your time coming back into your body.

Enjoy this body,

This breath.

Love yourself.

I invite you to give yourself a big hug.

Just for dealing with life,

With the mystery of it all and doing your best.
