This guided emotional cleansing practice blends breath, imagery, and mindful intention to help you gently shift your inner landscape. Through this rhythmic pairing of breath and visualization, you’ll cultivate a sense of clarity and emotional lightness. With each inhale, you’ll imagine drawing positive qualities into your body — joy, love, peace, strength — letting them fill and nourish you. And with each exhale, you’ll picture releasing what no longer serves you, allowing heaviness, tension, and old emotions to float away. It’s a grounding, heart‑centered practice that’s especially supportive when you’re feeling overwhelmed, weighed down, or simply in need of a fresh start. By the end, you’ll feel clearer, calmer, and more at peace as you move forward with your day.

Hi there,

This is Kathy Votaw and welcome to Mindful Breathing.

I'm so glad you're here.

Today's practice is a gentle breathwork exercise to help you breathe in positivity while releasing negativity.

On your inhales,

I will guide you with a positive word for you to imagine breathing fully into your body,

Entering into every cell of your being,

Where it can heal,

Rejuvenate,

And revitalize you,

Mind,

Body,

And soul.

On your exhales,

I will guide you with a word for you to imagine releasing from yourself,

Moving up and out of your body,

Leaving you and floating away,

Taking with it any negative thoughts,

Negative emotions,

Or negative energy.

The breathing rhythm for this practice is simple.

Just a gentle,

Slow inhale in,

Slight pause,

And then a gentle,

Slow exhale out.

Breathing in through your nose and exhaling out through your mouth,

Following along as I guide you.
