All right,

So let's go ahead and close our eyes.

And just start to feel yourself comfortable where you're seated.

Just coming into this present moment now,

Making any adjustments with the body to help you feel more open and relaxed.

And we'll begin by taking three cleansing breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.

So we'll begin with a slow,

Deep inhale through the nose.

Long full exhale through the mouth.

And doing that again,

Just really allowing the breath to drop deeper into the diaphragm.

Letting go on that exhale.

And one more time.

And let's transition that breath to a slow and steady inhale and exhale through the nose.

Perhaps counting to five on the inhale and five on the exhale.

And let's bring our awareness into our heart center.

So I invite you to place a hand over your heart if that feels okay.

Just to make that physical connection.

It really helps us to draw the awareness into this center when we can anchor more into that physical connection.

And so you can feel the chest rising and falling as you inhale and exhale.

So with the awareness in the heart center,

Allowing the breath to be slow and steady for that count of five.

Just to get the pace and rhythm of a breath that is full and steady but still comfortable.

Just noticing how the mind starts to slow down as we draw the attention into the heart.

Making that connection with our deeper selves,

Our inner wisdom,

Our true essence.

And you're welcome to drop the hand if that feels good or keep it there for the whole meditation.

Whatever feels good to connect you to more calm,

More love,

And more peace.

And if there's any emotion that you become familiar with,

Just imagine as if there are doors opening up and you could allow that emotion to come through those doors.

Create space for that emotion.

We don't need to hold it in.

Like we're letting steam out from a pot that had a lid on it.

So you're lifting up that lid.

Allow any bubbles or whispers of emotion that feel heavy or constricted.

We don't need to get rid of them or push them away,

But let's just create some space for them to move.

As you're anchored into your heart,

You want to check in with what it wants you to know right now.

So if your heart could speak to you,

What message would it have for you?

What would it want you to remember or to know?

Just be open to receiving that message,

Seeing how those messages that we receive from the heart feel good,

Feel supportive,

Feel loving,

And that's what we're yearning for.

So through these still moments,

It opens up that space to listen to the voice of the heart of the true self and remembering that it's safe to follow our heart's desire,

It's safe to listen to the voice of the heart,

And that we can,

If we haven't been listening,

Redevelop that relationship with the heart,

Knowing it's not gone anywhere.

It's always here.

We just need to turn our attention towards it.

We need to slow the mind down to do that.

The mind will always overpower the voice of the heart when it's loud.

But that mind fearful voice doesn't steer us in the right direction,

But the voice of the heart does.

So still release any emotion,

Feel it,

Create space for it,

And then listen to the heart.

And there may be no action.

It may just be a feeling.

There may be nothing to do.

But to just rest in this feeling in the heart.

Returning back to the seat of the self.

Taking some more deep breaths.

So start to inhale more deeply and exhale deeply.

And when you're ready,

Take one final clearing breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.

And gently start to blink open the eyes,

Coming back to the space around you.

Thank you for joining me today.
