Thoughts are like the weather.
They come and go.
By observing them without judgement,
You open the door to a healthier,
More resilient mind.
Welcome back to another Pocket of Peace Reflection.
Before we begin,
I invite you to take a moment to settle in.
Find a comfortable position.
Gently close your eyes.
And take a deep,
Calming breath.
In.
And out.
Allow your breathing to fall into a rhythmic pattern that suits you.
Allowing the tension in your body to soften with each exhale.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Bring your awareness to this present moment.
Letting go of any distractions or concerns from the day.
During your reflection time,
I'll invite you to consider some questions to deepen your understanding of your own innate health.
This is your gift.
Your time to pause,
Reflect and reconnect with your inner wisdom.
There's no rush.
There's no need to force anything.
There are no expectations.
Nowhere to be.
Nowhere to go.
Just be here now.
Open to whatever insights may arise.
As you listen,
Let the words resonate within you.
Notice any thoughts,
Feelings or sensations that come up.
And allow them to flow naturally,
Without judgement.
And with a whole load of gentleness.
When you're ready,
We'll begin.
Thoughts are like the weather.
They come and go.
By observing them without judgement,
You open the door to a healthier,
More resilient mind.
Now gently ask your inner guide.
Can you recall a recent thought that seemed overwhelming at the time?
How would it feel to observe such thoughts without attaching judgement or importance?
What does it mean to you that thoughts are temporary,
Like the weather?
As you continue to go deeper in your reflection,
Consider the following.
How could you be more observant of your thoughts?
With greater ease and less judgement?
How might this change your experience of stress or anxiety?
Take a moment now to bring your awareness back to the room.
Begin to notice the feeling of the surface beneath you.
The sounds around you.
And the gentle rhythm of your breath.
Feel the air on your face.
Start to wriggle your fingers and your toes.
Allow yourself to reconnect with your physical surroundings.
You may want to stretch gently,
As if waking up from a peaceful rest.
As you move through the rest of your day,
Or settle into your evening.
Allow the insights and reflections from today's session to continue to percolate in the background.
There's no need to rush to any conclusions.
Simply let your mind and heart digest what's coming up.
And know that a deeper understanding often unfolds over time.
I invite you to return tomorrow.
Give yourself the gift of another pocket of peace.
Each day brings new opportunities to connect with your inner wisdom.
And deepen your understanding of innate health and your well-being.
Thank you for spending time with me.
I look forward to continuing our journey tomorrow.
Lots of love.
