This is a soothing and soulful somatic meditative journey to slow down and be with a part of you that is feeling tender right now. By devoting your full, loving attention to a part of you that may be hidden in shadow, you accept, honor, forgive and love all parts of you. This practice is a deep devotional act of love that can alchemize your relationship to suffering. You're invited to make yourself and your body as comfortable as possible and use your breath and an aromatic essential oil as a safety anchor. Practice this with as many parts as you need, one by one. Enjoy the journey. Be well!

Welcome,

My name is Myesha and this session is intended for you to slow down and be with a part of you that's feeling tender right now.

This clear bit of space,

Taking a deep cleansing breath in,

Fully accepting all that is here right now and an even slower breath out,

Letting everything that is not this moment go.

We begin by slowing down,

Literally,

Slowing the mind chatter,

Slowing your movements as you begin to settle into stillness.

Slow down and let the nervous system catch up and as my beloved mentor would say,

You have all the time in the world,

Take all the time you need.

Closing the eyes if they aren't already,

We close the eyes so we can see.

Letting how it feels to be you right now,

However you're feeling right now,

Is okay.

You are welcome to engage in this journey at whichever level feels right for you.

Just know that you are deeply supported and you have everything you need.

So with curiosity,

Become aware of where you are in relation to the space you're in.

Slowly scanning the space you're in,

Noticing where your body is and how it feels to be in your body,

In this space.

Breathing with the breath now,

Just tune in to the natural rhythm of your breath.

Pause here,

Giving gratitude for the ease with which you receive the breath.

Let yourself enjoy receiving with ease.

When we signal with our body through a smile,

For instance,

That we enjoy something,

Our brains want to do more.

So enjoy the ease of the breath right now.

If you have an aromatic,

Making intentional use of it now by anointing yourself or breathing in deeply,

Let yourself enjoy the sensations that this scent creates in the body.

This will be your safety anchor,

Signaling to your mind to remain present in the body as you journey with your emotions.

So feel the support beneath you and the feeling of being supported and enjoy.

Enjoy feeling supported.

Taking deep,

Slow breaths,

You're invited to place your hand on your heart,

Rubbing or patting lightly,

Opening and activating your heart center,

Sending any healing messages or energy to yourself that you might need to hear or feel.

Tuning in here to listen for what your heart has to tell you.

Breathing slow and deep,

Every breath in and acceptance of all that is here right now,

Every breath out and letting go.

Just accepting and letting go with each breath.

When you're ready,

Briefly scanning your body for any sensations arising,

Any signals that may have information for you from the tips of your toes to your shins,

Calves,

Thighs,

Hips.

You might try physically moving the parts as you scan so that you can let go of any tension or stagnant energy there.

Breathing into your lower belly,

Really feel into your gut here and feel it expand.

You're here a moment,

Letting go of any fear or tension that may come from the mind.

Following your breath up into your chest,

Your heart space,

Your shoulders,

Moving your shoulders in any way that feels good,

Extending your elbows,

Rotating your wrists,

Opening and closing the hands.

Breathing into the neck and throat,

Pausing to tune into what's needed here.

Closing the jaw,

The space behind the eyes,

The temples and feeling into your back body now,

Lengthening your spine,

Feeling yourself grow tall with dignity,

With strength.

Now feeling your lungs widen,

Expanding yourself,

Taking up space.

Breathe and let go,

All parts of your body relaxed and at ease.

Just remain here,

Enjoying the ease that your body is experiencing and let go even more.

You might have noticed some sensations or emotion arise as you scanned your physical body.

Breathe slow and easy,

Using any information that your body sent you and with open-hearted curiosity,

Tune into the subtle body,

Your energy and motion and just notice.

Notice what's present here and now.

You get to be with the part of you that caught your attention.

Maybe the part that was the loudest or the easiest to notice,

Maybe the part that's feeling the most resistance to being seen.

Our tender parts are often hidden or buried beneath another part like anger,

Frustration,

Shame or fear,

So it may take some peeling back of layers to get to the core of what your part is really trying to communicate to you.

Notice how it's showing itself,

Tune into its thoughts and feelings,

Its beliefs.

Notice the tone with which it is communicating.

Spend some time here listening and observing,

Gently noticing the feelings of the part of you that's feeling tender right now and gently welcoming you back home.

These hidden or forgotten parts may be shaping your experiences,

Influencing your reactions in conscious and unconscious ways.

These parts of us,

These parts of you are truth seers,

Often holding information that fueled your evolution,

But maybe it doesn't know that you're willing and able to handle this truth now.

It may need to feel you being vulnerable,

Open and strong.

The you who feels safe in your body,

Fully accepting all of your parts.

So communicate whatever might be helpful in building trust and letting this part know the you now,

The devoted,

Centered,

Present you.

Breathing slow and deep with your attention and your body,

Signaling to your mind that yes,

This may be difficult or maybe uncomfortable and I'm okay.

I am safe here in my body.

Maybe this part has been left behind and feels like they are protecting you.

You may need to update this part while giving it exactly what it needs.

Part of welcoming your part back home is giving it space to express.

You might need to move some energy physically by stretching,

Moving your body,

Dancing,

Shaking.

Maybe you need to let out some sounds,

Deep sighs,

Scream into a pillow or sing or chant.

Maybe your part is calling for more stillness,

A loving self hug,

Some holding or gentle rocking of the body.

Make space for the expression needed right now.

Make space to move energy and let go.

Let go,

Heart open and ready to receive.

Journeying deep to pour your love into dark places is an act of deep love and devotion to your own becoming.

There are times to pause,

Slow down or even go back a step or two to ensure that no parts of you are left behind,

To integrate,

To reclaim yourself as you expand into wholeness and into love.

So before moving forward once again,

Take as much time as you need.

You have all the time in the world,

Giving yourself your part,

Exactly what you need.

Offering gratitude and sending love to the part that you've chosen to be with and sending love to any other parts that may be wanting your attention,

Gathering all parts of you now in love and gratitude as you remember your wholeness,

The cells in your body remember.

You have complete permission to let go of any lack,

Unworthiness,

Doubt or fear and receive the truth that you are enough,

That there is enough for every single one of us to live in abundance,

That you being exactly who you are meant to be,

Letting your light shine bright is healing in and of itself.

You deserve to receive your desires,

Your desires are a part of your soul's journey and they are your birthright,

It is already yours,

You don't have to earn it,

You don't have to earn rest and you don't have to earn worthiness.

You are worthy just by being,

You are worthy just by being.

You are your own medicine and with that truth,

Taking a deep cleansing breath in and as you release and let go,

Placing your hand in prayer and up at your third eye,

Your lips and your heart,

Remembering that you are in alignment and as you are ready,

Gently opening the eyes,

Receiving the benefits from your practice.

Welcome home,
