In moments of regret, fear, anger, or agony, it's easy to become entangled in a self-limiting storyline. This meditation invites you to gently return to the present, not by pushing feelings away, but by witnessing & welcoming them with awareness. Featuring the soothing tones of the handpan, this sound meditation offers a grounding space to sit with your emotions without becoming them. Let the music & breath guide you back to your center: laugh, let go, and enjoy the present. Perfect for starting or ending your day with a sense of calm, trust & presence.

Welcome,

My friend.

You're tuned in to OMHAIKU.

I'm your host,

Ma Moon,

Back with another music meditation just to soothe,

Just to relax.

If you've been feeling overwhelmed,

Stressed,

Anxious,

Depressed,

Lonely,

Fed up with work,

School,

Feeling insecure,

Feeling misunderstood,

A lack of motivation,

Or perhaps a lack of inspiration,

Creativity,

Feeling confined by all the challenges,

Or perhaps even joyful.

Whatsoever you feel today,

Reminding you that you're not alone,

And that millions,

If not billions of people can relate to the same worries,

Struggles,

Hopes,

Fears.

That you're not on an island,

But deeply intertwined into the human experience.

We're going to take some deep breaths and see if we can come back to trust,

To come back to our awareness of something beyond the worries,

Beyond the anger.

Getting comfortable,

My friend.

Becoming aware of how you're sat.

You're safe to close the eyes.

Tooting deeper into your inner space.

Breathing into the whole body.

Relaxing the hands,

The belly,

Relaxing the shoulders,

Relaxing the face,

The jaw,

The lips,

The head.

Dropping down from the head into the heart space.

Feeling the rhythm of your heartbeat.

Listening to its music.

Breathing in love for yourself.

Exhaling love for others.

Reminding you that you're lovable,

That other people are lovable,

That this life is lovable.

Taking a deep breath in.

Holding at the top.

Becoming aware of your presence as you hold the breath.

And exhale,

Letting go.

Breathing in fully and completely.

And holding that breath at the top.

And exhale,

Letting go.

Taking a deep breath in.

Coming into the body.

Having love for your body as it is.

Having love for your mind as it is.

Appreciating all the work that it does.

All the endless work.

Taking a deep breath in.

And a deep breath out.

Coming back to trust in the unfolding of life as you breathe in.

And if your mind has been wanting to think,

Now is the time to let your mind be totally free to think.

Coming back into the body.

Taking one last deep breath for now.

And exhale.

Softening the face.

Opening the heart space.

Feeling your belly relax.

Feeling the stillness of the ground beneath you.

Feeling your awareness.

The color for today is brown.

The number is one hundred and fifty-eight.

No more is impossible.

I thank you for joining me across time and space.

I'm sending you a big hug,

My dear friend.

Wishing you an abundance of love,

Resourcefulness,

Creativity,

Focus,

Consciousness.

Sometimes we have to concentrate.

Sometimes we have to go beyond concentration in order to truly focus.

And what I mean by that is,

Notice when you are just being playful.

For example,

Playing like basketball.

And you're just totally present in that game.

You're really focused.

You're concentrated,

But without a lot of effort.

It's just that you're having so much fun.

You're so engaged in the game that you can't help but be present.

That is one of the keys to meditation.

To be playful with it.

To not take it too serious so that the mind is becoming constricted and tight.

But to remain playful like you're just playing a game,

Having fun,

Being present.

And with that,

I will see you back here tomorrow with love.
