Welcoming And Bridging

We start with a brief settling practice to anchor our attention to here and now, before we move into a bridge to the previous parts of introducing mindfulness. In other words a short practice followed by a summary.

We explore Viktor Frankl's quote and what is in and out of our control to better understand what is responding vs. reacting and how we can focus more on what is in our control than out of our control.

The Responsive Breathing Space

Here we will be practicing the Responsive Breathing Space which helps us to pause, step back, and be with our experience in a NEW and DIFFERENT way, more aware, anchored, experiential and expansive. We will also reflect on how we can best respond skillfully.
