Hello,
And welcome.
We'll begin our guided meditation,
Finding a comfortable position.
Maybe that's a seat,
Maybe that's lying down.
However,
You can allow yourself a moment to arrive,
To settle in.
If you're comfortable,
I invite you to close your eyes.
But as always,
You can just take a soft gaze in front of you if you prefer.
As we come to our practice,
We will begin to dive inward.
We will begin to notice.
I encourage you to let go of any expectations,
Any demands you're placing on yourself.
And throughout our practice,
Just allow yourself to be as you are.
When we come to this practice,
Our mind will absolutely wander.
It is a practice.
So we are constantly bringing it back to our breath,
Bringing it back to the present moment again and again,
As many times as you need to.
So as we check in with our breath,
As we notice the quality of the inhales,
The qualities of every exhale.
As you begin to notice what you're bringing into your practice,
How it feels to be present in your body,
Right now,
Physically,
Mentally.
We are letting ourselves be and meeting ourselves with grace and compassion.
We will slowly,
Slowly begin to deepen our breath,
Lengthening our inhalations and matching our exhalations.
Nice,
Full breaths.
Inhale fully.
Exhale completely.
Imagining your breath as an anchor right in the center of you.
That brings you back to the present moment again and again.
Letting every inhale,
Fill your body with space.
And letting every exhale,
Soften you back down,
Grounding you into the earth.
Inhale fully.
Exhale completely.
Letting it all go.
Taking a few breaths here.
Bringing your mind back as many times as you need to.
Back to your breath,
Back to your anchor.
I invite you to remember that this breath,
This presence is available to you anytime.
It is always here within you.
As many times as you need,
You can find this ease as you come to your comfortable position.
Turn inward and reconnect to your breath.
Reconnect to your anchor.
Let's take one last breath here.
And on your exhale,
We'll just sigh it all out,
Letting it all go.
Inviting in a little gentle movements and beginning to open your eyes.
Thank you so much for joining me today.
