Hi Vibrant Being,

Welcome to this guided meditation to help you let go of your thoughts.

I'm Sara and I'll be your guide today.

Find a comfortable position,

Either sitting or laying down,

And gently close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Filling your lungs completely,

And then exhale through your mouth,

Releasing any tension.

Begin by taking a few more deep breaths at your own pace,

Focusing on the sensation of your belly rising as you inhale and falling as you exhale.

Continue to observe your belly,

The feeling of the air going in and out through your nostrils.

Now imagine your thoughts as smoke inside your mind.

With each exhale visualize this smoke beginning to dissipate and clear away.

Inhale deeply through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth,

Watching the smoke drift away and start to clear.

Continue this pattern,

Inhale deeply and exhale,

Letting the smoke get out of your head.

With each breath the smoke becomes less and less,

Until it's entirely cleared from your mind.

Allow yourself to feel the sense of lightness as the mental fog leaves.

Now gently shift your focus to your thoughts.

When they come,

Visualize them as leaves floating down a gentle stream.

Imagine each thought as a leaf,

Resting lightly on the water's surface.

Visualize the stream flowing smoothly and steadily,

Carrying each leaf,

Each thought,

Downstream.

As you inhale,

Watch the leaves appear on the water and as you exhale,

See them drifting away,

Moving farther down the stream.

Allow yourself to become absorbed in this visualization.

With each exhale feel the current of the stream carrying your thoughts away,

Leaving a calm and clear space in your mind.

If any new thoughts appear,

Simply imagine them as new leaves gently joining the stream.

Watch them float away without engaging with them,

Allowing them to drift out of your mind.

Take a few more deep cleansing breaths,

Inhale deeply through your nose,

Feeling your belly expand and exhale slowly through your mouth,

Feeling any remaining tension release.

Begin breathing at your normal pace and continue to observe your belly moving up and down.

Pay attention to the sensations of the air going in and out of your body through your nose and through your mouth.

Bring your awareness back to the present moment,

Feel the surface beneath you,

Notice the sensations in your body and gently start to wiggle your fingers,

Your toes,

Your hands,

Your feet and gently stretch your body.

When you are ready,

Open your eyes slowly.

As you come back to the present,

Carry this sense of calm with you into the rest of the day.

Thank you for joining me in this meditation.
