We can get so blocked up with people, places things, and forget about clearing the energy within us. When we do create space, we can cultivate greater peace, harmony, and presence. A meditation focusing on releasing, cutting cords, clearing the energy within us so we have space to create the life we desire. Many blessings to you all. May this meditation serve you well. Alright,

This is going to be a meditation focusing on releasing,

Cutting cords,

Clearing the energy around us,

Clearing the energy within us so that we have space because we can get very blocked up with all the things that we have to do,

All the people that we have to see and everything that we're tied to basically.

And this is a meditation to untie,

Unravel and let go of these things,

Not to not think about them or to not be connected to them but so that the intense attachment is let go of and this enables us to have more space,

More presence and more peace in the world.

So just set up for meditation,

You can be sitting down,

Lying down,

Standing up,

Whatever is most comfortable or accessible to you right now.

Feel free to gently close your eyes.

Just taking some deep breaths in through the nose,

Out through the mouth.

On the exhale just allowing the day thus far to release through your exhale.

Whether it's the start of your morning and your shaking off sleep or the middle of the day or night.

Just allowing yourself to come fully present into this space.

Gently shutting your eyes if that feels accessible to you.

Filling your belly up with breath and then gently releasing through the nose now.

Noticing any sounds that are part of your existence right now.

Maybe there's the sounds of other people,

The sounds of the outside world and without judgement or desire to change.

Just allowing this to be part of our experience as we choose to go internally and explore the inner workings of our mind and body through this exercise.

And I'd like you to just feel your connection to the ground.

Just feel into whatever is connected to the ground right now.

So it may be your sitting bones,

Your legs,

Your feet.

Maybe your whole back and head if you're lying down.

Just feeling into whatever is connected to the ground.

Feeling that pressure,

Perhaps some heaviness.

Perhaps even a different temperature to the rest of your body.

And without mentally knowing how to.

Allowing our weight to just further move deeper into these areas.

Allowing any heaviness to sit lower,

Closer to the ground.

So we may have greater lightness and ease as we meditate.

Now once again the mind may crop up with different things,

Different thoughts,

Different sensations.

And that's okay.

We're looking to bring our attention back every time the mind wanders.

We're not looking to judge,

To expect anything from our practice.

We're just looking to play with a sense of awareness that our mind will come in.

But then gently bringing our attention back to the present moment,

To our body and to the exercise.

Now I'd like you to imagine that you are sitting in a field.

It could be any type of field that you like.

It could be grass,

River,

Forest.

You may have birds,

Birds,

Insects.

It may even be crystals floating around,

Beautiful pink skies,

Clouds,

Whatever you desire.

This space is your safe haven as you will for this exercise.

A place that you can be serenely connected to the earth,

To nature around you,

To your own inner self,

And to the sensations and feelings within.

Just breathe in the air here.

Breathe the beauty that surrounds you in this place.

Breathing in that lightness,

That love,

That comfort.

And as you breathe out,

Just letting go of any heaviness,

Anything stuck or stagnant that is ready to be released,

To be renewed and to be restored into love.

In this beautiful place when you release,

That energy can turn into love,

Vitality and strength for whatever needs it.

So I'm just going to take a couple of breaths here,

Breathing in that lightness,

That love.

You may want to visualise it as light,

Gold,

Silver,

Any colour you choose.

And as we breathe out,

Breathing out heaviness,

Stagnation,

Resentments,

Fears.

It could be a darker colour or it could just be a feeling of energy.

Inhaling and exhaling.

Inhaling the wondrous beauty of the place that surrounds you and exhaling anything that is stuck,

That is ready to be released.

Okay.

And now you are grounded in this place,

Connected to the world around you,

The beautiful field that you reside in.

Now we are just going to imagine these cords,

These attachments that we hold to people,

To places,

To things that we need to do,

Things that we want to do,

The ways that we want to be.

Now you may only have one cord,

A couple of cords or your whole body may be surrounded with cords that are attached.

It's really not a problem whichever visualisation comes to mind.

And without even needing to know what these cords are attached to,

You may already know,

You may want to visualise what they are attached to,

But we are just seeing them for what they are without judgement.

Just noticing how many cords we may have or hold or how much we hold within this and how much energy we are giving to these things.

It's almost as if our roots,

Our plant roots are just spreading out really wide and far away from us.

And part of this exercise is allowing us to have space to return some of that energy to our own inner being so that we may have greater energy to show up in the world for these things without being attached to these things or people or places.

So I just want you to focus in on one of the cords,

Maybe your one cord for the day or maybe just be one of many and just hold it in your hand,

In your palm.

Can you feel the energy that it is taking to maintain this cord?

Does it feel heavy?

Does it feel light?

Is it serving a purpose?

Are you ready to let this go with love?

And just imagine yourself sending love to this cord,

Inhaling love,

A beautiful pink cloud of energy and exhaling love towards this cord.

Imagining the cord lighting up with love,

Unconditional love and light and energy.

And just allowing yourself to embrace the attachment for what it has been,

What it served for you,

What it served for the person,

Place or thing.

Being grateful,

Sending some gratitude to the cord.

And then we're going to take some energetic scissors and when you're ready we're just going to allow ourselves to cut the cord with love,

With light and with divine energy.

With trust that as we cut the cord we are setting not only the person,

Place or thing free,

We are also setting ourselves free.

And now just inhaling into that space that you've created.

As the cord diminishes and disappears you now have more space.

Now if you have more cords,

If you have many cords that's alright,

You may inhale more love,

More divine pink beautiful unconditional love energy.

Inhaling that and exhaling it towards your cords,

Imagining yourself blowing it all on the cords.

Embrewing them with beauty,

With life,

With love and just thanking them,

Thanking all the attachments.

And then we're going to take our energetic scissors to gently cut with love and free these people,

Places and things and free ourselves for we do not need to be attached to be connected.

So we begin cutting,

Still imagining the love radiating from our hearts towards these beautiful cords and we free up all the space,

All the clutter that has been keeping us from being present,

From being connected,

From being peaceful.

We just cut these cords all around,

All around and just gently watch them as they dissipate,

Disappear all the way off into the background.

They dissolve and shift and form.

And then you notice that you have no cords left.

It's just you and your body and your soul and your mind filled with love,

Compassion,

Space.

Just a few deep inhales here,

Filling yourself with this space and exhaling.

Still sitting in this field with all the beautiful nature around you.

And just noticing if there,

If you feel any difference,

You know,

Do you feel a bit lighter?

Do you feel less attached,

More connected?

Just noticing if there's any feelings,

Sensations,

Thoughts that arise.

And then letting the field disappear as well,

Knowing that you can always come back.

When you close your eyes,

You can always come back to these beautiful places that you create.

And once again,

Just feeling into the sensation,

Your connection to the earth,

To the ground beneath you,

To the solid floor.

You may want to drink some water after this exercise.

You may want to journal or release.

This is a powerful exercise for forgiving,

Clearing,

Making space.

Now you may want to remain with your eyes closed and stay in this place or you may want to join me in gently noticing the sounds around you.

Maybe wiggling the fingertips,

Toes,

Gently coming back into the physical.

You may want to roll the shoulders,

Roll the elbows,

Giving a big stretch,

Welcoming the day again.

And when you're ready,

You may open your eyes.

Now if you feel tender after this exercise,

That's completely normal and natural.

Perhaps just giving yourself some space and time to connect back in with your day,

Taking it slow and steady.

So yeah,

Beautiful, I loved that inclusion of getting comfortable to whatever was “accessible” to us, it made me feel comforted that whatever felt right for my body was okay. You made it feel really easy visualise, relax and connect to body.
