Hi,

Welcome.

I'm really glad you're here.

Before we do anything,

Just notice that you made it here.

That matters.

Tonight,

We're not fixing you.

We're not analyzing you.

We're not diagnosing anything.

We're just letting your nervous system settle.

If it feels safe,

Gently place one hand on your chest and one hand on your lower belly.

Take a slow breath in through your nose for 4,

2,

3,

4,

And exhale slowly for 6,

2,

3,

4,

5,

6.

Again,

Inhale for 4 and exhale for 6.

Your body might be tired of holding everything.

That's okay.

You don't have to hold it right now.

Just feel the surface beneath you.

Notice the support under your back,

Under your legs,

Under your feet.

You are not in the past.

You are not in danger.

You are not in survival mode right now.

You are indoors.

You are breathing.

You are safe in this moment.

If your thoughts wander,

That's normal.

Just gently come back to the feeling of your breath leaving your body.

Slow,

Steady,

Soft.

There is nothing you need to solve tonight.

No identity to figure out.

No decisions to make.

No performance required.

Just breathing.

Just being.

Just resting your nervous system.

If it helps,

You can silently repeat,

I am safe right now.

I can rest.

Stay here as long as you need.

There is no rush.

There is no expectation.

And when you're ready,

Take one deep breath in and slowly release.

Thank you for allowing yourself this moment.
