Let's begin by finding a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down,

And begin to close your eyes if that feels safe or keep them softly gazing downward,

Taking a deep breath in through your nose and a long,

Slow exhale out through your mouth.

Let's do that two more times,

Inhaling deeply in through the nose and slowly exhaling through the mouth.

One more time,

Inhaling deeply,

Filling your chest,

Expand your belly,

Rise and out through the mouth,

Feeling the release and the groundedness.

I invite you to imagine yourself standing in the middle of a storm.

The winds are swirling around you loud and chaotic,

Rain pours down,

And the ground beneath your feet feels unsteady.

Notice how your body feels as the storm engulfs your entire being.

Notice the impacts in your thoughts.

Notice the sensations in your body.

Maybe there's tension in your chest,

Or perhaps your breath begins to accelerate.

Observing without judgment the experience of being in the eye of a storm.

Notice the vibrations.

Notice the sensations.

What do you hear?

What do you smell?

What can you taste?

What can you see?

What do you feel?

The storm represents uncertainty,

The unknown,

The chaos we sometimes face in life.

And in the midst of this storm,

In the middle,

Can be really hard to find groundedness,

Could be very difficult to find ease.

It could be very difficult to find peace.

As you stand in the storm,

Begin to notice a shift,

Realizing that within the chaos,

You remain still.

Orient yourself to how you are experiencing this moment right now.

Notice how your jaw,

Your eyebrows,

Your neck,

Your shoulder,

Your chest,

Your stomach,

Your pelvis,

Your thighs,

Your knees,

Your calves,

Your ankles,

Your feet,

Your toes,

Your arms,

Your hands,

Your fingers,

Your eyebrow center.

Notice how your breath carried you to this moment.

This is the eye of the storm.

Feel the steadiness here,

The groundedness you feel with the contact of the surface beneath you,

The natural flow of your breath without your assistance.

And as you stand in this calm,

Notice a glowing light coming from your chest.

Envision this light as if it were a lighthouse,

A small,

Steady compass guiding you home.

This is your internal guide.

This is your inner knowing.

The light always reminds you of who you are,

Of what anchors you,

Even in the midst of the storm,

Of what guides you home,

Especially in the darkness.

Allow your awareness of this moment to bring you closer to this light.

Taking a deep breath in and feeling this light become brighter,

Its energy filling your entire bodysuit.

And on your exhale,

Imagine releasing any tension or fear,

Letting the storm around you dissipate.

With every inhale of your natural breath,

You're drawing strength and clarity from this light.

And with every exhale,

You're releasing whatever blocks that light from your awareness.

Every inhale,

You're finding resolve.

Every inhale,

You're finding peace.

And every exhale,

You're releasing control and you're releasing fear.

Allow your breath to guide you in your knowingness,

That even in the mist,

Even in the middle,

Even in the darkness,

Even in the uncertainty,

Your light will remain to guide you home.

Before we leave this stillness,

Silently give yourself thanks for showing up,

For stepping into the storm willingly and creating your own calm,

Your own peace.

Know that this light is always within you,

Ready to guide you back home,

Ready to guide you whenever you need it.

And when you're ready,

Gently bring your awareness back to your body,

Wiggling your fingers and toes.

And take one more deep grounding breath when it feels right and open your eyes.

Take a moment now to reflect on what came up for you during that meditation.

If you have a journal nearby,

You might write down any words,

Feelings,

Or images that came up or simply hold them in your heart.

Here's a couple of questions that can guide your reflection.

What does your light represent for you in this season of your life?

What's guiding you back home?

What practices,

Values,

Or beliefs help you stay grounded when life feels uncertain?

There's no right or wrong answer,

Trust whatever arises naturally.

I invite you to carry one intention from today's practice into your week.

Maybe it's a small act of self-care,

Like pausing to take a few deep breaths during a stressful moment,

Or maybe it's journaling about your light and spending time reconnecting with your body through movement.

Remember,

Even and especially in the chaos,

You have the tools within you to return to your sense of home,

Your sense of balance,

Your sense of safety.

Thank you for showing up for yourself today.

It takes courage to face life's uncertainties and even more to pause and center yourself amidst them.

So I hope that you leave this space feeling a little more grounded,

A little more connected to your inner light,

And know that you are not alone in this journey and you have whatever you need to weather in any storm.

I'm so grateful to have shared this time with you.

Until next time,

Take great care of yourself.
