Welcome to this new day.
Taking a few minutes here to get a little more comfortable,
Either sitting or lying.
And together we will enter into this new day with grace and ease.
We'll begin with a moment of silence,
Resting into whatever position you're in,
Taking note right away if there's anywhere in your body that can soften a little deeper into the ground.
And bringing your awareness to the eyes,
Allowing a gentle inner smile to come into the eyes.
And maybe that softens the entire face and the head.
Feeling the eyebrows soften,
The forehead and the temples,
All of the face muscles softening deeper,
The mouth and the jaw,
Inviting in a sense of loosening,
A softening into the head,
A spaciousness,
Feeling the neck release deeper,
A gentle lifting in your crown.
Let the shoulders soften down,
The arms are heavy,
Relaxed,
Softening the hands,
The palms,
The fingers,
The tops of the hands,
And sensing the energy in the heart,
Letting this space soften into whatever's here,
Softening the sternum,
And feeling the breath expand into your rib cage,
Feel the ribs soften on the exhale,
Feeling the spine relax and subtly lengthen,
Resting into your sacrum,
Gently resting back into your seat,
You're sitting,
Softening this entire area,
The belly,
The pelvic region,
The hips.
Let the legs get heavier,
Relaxing the calves,
Relaxing the feet and the toes,
And using a nice long,
Slow exhale to soften everything,
Resting towards the earth,
Allowing in the support of the earth,
Through sinking down into it,
Connecting with the larger theme of your life,
Right now,
The larger cycle,
Whatever your spirit's highest aspiration is,
Maybe it's a word or a mantra,
Slowly invoking this feeling,
These words,
Offering a prayer to hold this higher aspiration,
Bringing one hand to the belly,
One hand to the heart,
Taking a few nourishing breaths here,
And asking,
What is in my highest alignment today?
What do I actually want to do?
How do I want to be today?
How do I want to feel?
Is there something or someone that feels like a priority today that I choose to commit to?
Taking a deep breath and letting all of this go,
Coming into this moment,
All parts of you,
Bringing your awareness into the center line of your being,
Feeling all of your energy here contained,
Trusting in the unfolding of this day,
That it will be exactly as it's meant to be,
And you can just simply enjoy the ride.
Starting to connect to the inspiration of the in-breath,
And sensing how the movements of the breath extend out to the outside world,
And how the movements of the breath extend all the way down to the pelvic floor,
All the way up to the crown of the head,
Breathing with your entire body,
Attuning to the balance of softening and allowing the breath in,
And invoking this inspiration,
The effortless effort,
Feeling your entire upper body as a cylinder for the breath,
Expanding in all directions,
Expanding out in all directions,
Expanding down the pelvic floor on the inhale,
And expanding up the crown.
Let it feel easy,
Allowing the breath to be free to express however it wants to,
Trusting in its intelligence,
And starting to rest deeper into a very slow,
Gentle,
And subtle breath,
Where the inhale and the exhale are even,
Whatever length feels nourishing for you,
Remembering the breath can always be even slower and softer.
This breath is balancing to the nervous system and harmonizes the energetic fields of the heart and the brain,
So that we can create our life from our heart with the clarity of our mind,
With the awareness.
Noticing what you naturally feel grateful for in this moment.
Is there a person that comes to mind in this moment that you feel grateful for?
Imagining them smiling back at you,
Feeling this appreciation or love that is unconditional,
Appreciating their beingness.
Maybe feeling grateful for this day,
This new opportunity to awaken more deeply to the true nature of reality,
To the endless magic that is all around,
Waiting for us to notice.
Trusting in however you feel today,
Whatever cycle you're in,
Trusting that everything is impermanent.
If there's any discomfort,
Trusting it will pass.
And if there's comfort,
Just simply enjoying it,
Taking it in,
Being present with what is.
Wishing you magical blessings on this day.
