This spacious meditation supports to create the conditions for healing and integration to happen naturally. This isn’t something we need to try and make happen. A big part of Sacred Rest is ‘resting’ from the never ending trying that can come from the healing/personal growth journey. I find that this healing intelligence works for us when we create the space to allow our bodies to harmonize with the natural healing forces within and around us.

Transcript

Welcome to this sacred rest meditation called organic integration.

Taking this time to get comfortable lying down or in any position that feels good.

The intention of this meditation is to connect and activate the intuitive intelligence of your body connected to the earth so that deep healing,

Integration,

Restoration can happen naturally and on a regular basis.

Just setting the conditions for this to happen.

And these conditions often consist of space,

Relaxation,

Awareness,

Presence,

Allowing what is.

Along with opening ourselves up to receive the supportive energy of the earth.

Taking any other movements that you might need so that you can rest in stillness.

And whenever you feel settled,

Taking a clearing breath in whatever way feels right in this moment.

Seeing what breath feels the best to really soften everything.

Noticing your natural breath.

Noticing where you're breathing.

And we'll begin with a moment of silence.

And I'll be going through a body scan that you might feel inspired to incorporate into your daily life.

A very simple one that you can easily make your own.

You can do it any time of day.

I recommend starting to practice it before you go to sleep.

Just simply letting your awareness drift to these different parts.

Knowing that it will naturally start to soften just through our awareness of it.

Feeling everything let go on an exhale.

Sinking down into the earth.

Taking the longest and slowest breath that you can.

Subtle,

Soft.

Taking a moment to see how you intuitively feel called to connect more deeply to the earth.

There's no right or wrong way.

Whatever resonates for you.

Bringing the hands to the belly,

The pointer fingers resting in the navel.

Taking three slow,

Long breaths here just in the belly.

At the bottom of the third exhale,

Letting your natural breath come in.

The innate breath.

Letting this express however it wants to.

Feeling that there is an intelligence guiding your breath where it's needed.

Letting your awareness rest here in the space beneath the hands.

Letting yourself be free however you want to breathe and express.

Continuing to sink and soften.

Allowing your energies to naturally harmonize,

Process,

Digest,

Seamlessly move through you.

Flowing through.

Vibrant and alive.

Taking two slow breaths here in the belly.

And expand into your hands on the inhale.

Gently lengthening the inhales.

The length of the exhales are equal to the inhales.

Letting the innate breath respond after the second exhale.

Slowly sliding the hands up to the low ribs with the pointer fingers resting in the soft spot right beneath the bottom ribs,

The sternum.

Right where the ribs come together.

Noticing where you can soften energy from your hands.

Feeling the diaphragm beneath your hands.

Softening the bottom of the exhales.

The diaphragm is connected to the bottom ribs and wraps back to the spine.

The lumbar spine.

Taking two extra long and slow breaths here in the space beneath your hands.

Imagining a balloon in the center.

Expanding with ease in all directions.

Feeling the natural breath response wherever it wants to go.

Witnessing your natural breath here.

Like you're watching the waves crashing on the shore.

Seeing if there's somewhere on your body,

Could be anywhere,

That your hands feel drawn to.

It could even be your arms,

Your head,

Your jaw.

Simply offering loving presence to this space.

Just resting here.

Offering an inner smile to this space.

Slowly bringing your arms back to the sides or back to the belly or the low ribs.

Into even deeper relaxation.

Letting go even more.

Relaxing the head,

Pelvic floor,

Taking two full breaths.

Whatever that feels like for you.

Full,

Complete breaths.

Very slow and subtle.

Melting open,

Receiving the inhale.

Letting go more deeply.

Allowing the energies within you and all around you to organically harmonize.

Just resting and witnessing,

Feeling this happening.

And whenever you're ready to come back,

Taking three grounding breaths into the belly.

Storing this beautiful energy that you've cultivated in the space of the navel.

This reservoir here.

Taking some time to rest on your right side before you come up.

Taking all the time you need.

Giving yourself permission to rest more,

To sleep,

If that's what's calling.

I wish you peace.
