This is an extra slow and spacious meditation to support falling asleep. It will also support getting deeper rest. In the beginning, there is space for charged thoughts and emotions to digest. Welcome to this sacred rest journey for falling asleep with ease.

Taking some time here to get cozy and comfortable in your bed,

Making sure that you're warm.

Maybe having something to cover the eyes.

Taking all the movements that you need so that you can begin to rest into stillness.

Whenever you feel settled,

Taking a deeper,

Nourishing,

Cleansing breath,

Letting the exhale sink you in deeper to your bed,

Feeling your breath starting to settle and become gentler.

And we'll begin with a moment of silence.

Taking a moment here to give the mind space to process whatever's arising in thought form.

Just letting it be,

Letting it pass,

Acknowledging.

Taking another slow,

Gentle breath through the nose,

A deeper breath,

And feeling the exhale clearing the mind.

Placing your hands somewhere in your body if it feels good,

And mentally and emotionally running through your day and seeing if there was any emotional moments that are coming to mind.

Just taking a moment to give that emotion space to fully process.

Just a few minutes here of acknowledging different points throughout the day where you felt a specific emotion.

Letting go of any stories or the need to know why or justify something.

Allowing these emotional charges to have space to breathe and digest.

Taking another slow,

Deeper breath,

Imagining a warm,

Healing light on the exhale washing through your entire energetic body,

Clearing and cleansing any charges,

Harmonizing.

Feeling your awareness sink deeper into the space of the heart.

Feeling the body let go and sink deeper down towards the ground,

Letting go.

Coming up,

Taking a deeper breath on the inhale,

Very slowly blowing the exhale out through pursed lips like you're gently blowing through a straw,

Slowly deflating any charged energy.

Doing this one more time.

Very slowly and softly,

Blowing it out the mouth like a balloon deflating slowly.

Feeling your body melting into the support beneath,

The arms letting go and getting heavy.

Feeling the hands,

The palms,

Thumbs,

First fingers,

Middle fingers,

Ring fingers,

Pinky fingers,

The entire hand,

Tops of the hands,

And the shoulders let go deeper.

Let the legs get heavier.

Feeling the weight of the head,

The back of the neck melting,

Lengthening,

Releasing.

Feeling the entire face soften,

Sensing the eyes,

Softening all around the sides of the eyes,

The backsides of the eyeballs,

Feeling as if they're floating weightlessly in water.

Sensing the entire skull,

All of the bones,

Subtly loosening.

A sense of spaciousness here in the head,

In the brain,

The inner ear canals,

Inside the mouth,

The teeth,

The entire jaw is loosening.

Sensing the knees let go,

The legs releasing their weight,

The arms releasing,

Getting heavier,

The lower back softening,

The entire spine gently melting down,

Lengthening.

Feeling every part of the body sink a little deeper into the bed,

Feeling every part of the body soften and loosen a little deeper.

Bringing the hands to the low ribs,

With the pointer fingers resting in the soft spot right beneath where the ribs come together,

Beneath the sternum.

Feeling the warm healing energy coming from your hands,

Softening the diaphragm here.

Taking a moment to set an intention for your night's rest.

Whatever comes up,

Slowly repeating it to yourself a few times,

Letting that go on an your awareness.

Letting your awareness rest in the space beneath the pointer fingers,

Sensing the gentle expansion of the ribcage on the inhales and the soft retraction on the exhales.

Continuing to sink and soften.

Letting your awareness rest at the nostrils,

Letting the breath be natural and free,

And also sensing the breath continuing to be softer,

Slower and more subtle.

Barely sensing the air moving in and out.

Letting this go and bringing the hands to wherever they feel most comfortable,

Either on your body or to the sides.

Letting everything go,

Any effort,

Any focus.

Feeling the peace of having nothing to do,

Nowhere to be,

The feeling of the comfort of your bed,

The warmth,

The protection of your house,

The solace of your room.

I wish you softness into what is.
