You no longer need to worry about relaxing or even falling asleep, with the help of Yoga Nidra. Commonly called "yogic sleep", it is a guided meditation to help you unwind from the day or even a stressful moment. This is a simple version, great for beginners. Lay down comfortably with a blanket or pillows. We begin with gentle breathing work, relaxing the body, creating a positive intention, body awareness for deeper relaxation, and healing the chakras at the end. The music (by Chris Collins), helps your body go into a parasympathetic state (the state we want for healing and digestion) and helps to fall asleep.

Hello and welcome to this practice of Yoga Nidra.

Please find a place to lie down comfortably with some pillows and a blanket.

And when you're ready,

You can begin by taking a nice deep belly breath in through your nose for a count of 4,

And exhale out of the mouth for a count of 6.

And exhale out of the mouth for a count of 6.
