Taking a moment to sit quietly with the intention of connecting with your body and your emotional body,
Your inner child,
For the next little while.
Closing your eyes,
Making sure that your back is straight,
Your feet are firmly on the floor,
Connected,
And you're going to connect with your body.
Become aware of the inhalation and the exhalation and allow that to bring your awareness into the body.
Take a deep breath in and as you breathe out let go of all external stimulation.
Start to relax the body,
Soften the body,
And allow all of the busyness of the head,
All thought,
All energy up in the head,
To just start to gently drop down,
Down,
Down,
Out of the head and into your body.
Feel the weight of your body dropping down into the chair,
Feeling heavier in the chair,
Being aware of your body,
The inhalation and the exhalation,
And really intending to connect to your body,
Noticing how your body feels right now in this moment,
Really noticing.
Just keep dropping your energy down into the body.
If the mind is busy don't worry,
Just use the breath,
The inhalation and the exhalation to relax the body and drop down,
Down,
Down into your body.
You are safe in your body,
You are safe,
You are safe,
You are safe.
We spend so much time up in our heads thinking,
Thinking,
Thinking,
And we miss out on the full resonance and power of our physical body sensations and our emotions,
And we need to be fully informed before we make decisions and take actions.
Connecting to our intelligences,
All of them,
Our physical body sensations and our emotional bodies,
Our inner children,
Bring us deeper understanding,
Deeper connection.
So when you feel like you're able to and feel connected to and with your body and your inner child,
The practice is then to converse with them,
To converse with them.
Ask your body how it feels about the decision or action you're about to make.
What response does your body have?
You may wish to give your body some options and notice how it responds.
Thanking your body for showing you,
For communicating with you in this way,
And then finally connecting with your inner child,
Your emotional body,
And asking your inner child,
Your emotional body,
How she or he feels.
How do they feel about the decision or action you're about to make?
What is their response?
Sending them lots of love and encouragement,
Letting them know they can be truthful.
You will not judge them,
You will accept anything they have to say to you today.
And now being aware of your whole body resonance,
Your physical sensations,
Your feelings and emotions,
As well as your thoughts,
And allowing all of these intelligences to inform you.
And when you feel an alignment,
An agreement between your thoughts,
Your physical body,
And your emotions,
Then that is the time that you can take inspired action.
Enjoy the practice,
Be patient,
And trust your deeper connection to your whole self,
Your whole self,
Your whole self.
