Filling up your cup. This meditation allows you to release any emotions or thoughts that aren't serving you so that you can feel nourished, cared for, and reborn anew. May you remember that you are enough.

So just allowing your body to settle into a nice comfortable position.

Whatever that means for you.

So it could be sitting on a chair or the couch with your feet flat on the ground,

Maybe sitting cross legged on the bed or really in any other position where your body can just feel relaxed and at ease.

Once you've settled in,

Mindfully invite your body to just arrive in this space.

So feeling your hips relax a little bit deeper onto the surface beneath them.

Allowing your shoulders just gently release away from your ears.

Feeling the little muscles in your face gently softening and letting go.

As you just very gently start to open to a state of stillness.

So feeling like a quiet stillness is arising within your body.

And allowing your breath to start to fill in the stillness.

So feeling your in-house starting to gently expand your body out.

And your exhale just effortlessly softening your body into space.

Inhaling,

Feeling the body just gently opening.

Exhaling,

Feeling the body just effortlessly let go.

And again,

Inhaling,

Feeling the expansiveness.

Exhaling,

Feeling the relaxation.

As you begin to settle in here a little bit deeper.

I want you to just take inventory of how you feel emotionally.

In motherhood so often there is so much to do.

And there is so much of our energy that is being called forth to give.

Whether that be to our children,

To other loved ones,

Or to anything.

Any of your responsibilities or conditions for feeling like you're living a life that you love.

So as we settle in here together,

Mother to mother.

I want you to just become aware of how all these things feel in your body.

It's very simply noticing and silently naming how you feel.

Whether that be exhausted,

Angry,

Sad,

Perhaps even alone.

Just allowing whatever is bubbling to the surface to just arise.

Be acknowledged.

Be labeled.

And then just allow it to release.

Allow it to flow away from you.

As you continue to do this,

As you continue to allow things to emerge,

Be seen,

Felt,

And released.

You're just very naturally creating space within you.

You're letting go of any emotions or any thoughts that aren't serving you.

You're allowing them to fall away.

You may even begin to notice that your body starts to feel different.

Some people feel heavier,

Feel more grounded and rooted.

Whereas others might feel lighter,

More expansive.

Just notice how it feels to just allow these things to come up and let go.

You don't need them.

But we do need to notice them to be compassionate with these parts of us.

And then just set them free.

Continuing to do this,

Just imagining it's like a fountain where everything rises up and then gently releases down.

Letting any stress or worry just start to flow further and further away from you.

As you sit here,

Visualizing everything that came into this meditation within you slowly starting to flow away from you.

I want you to imagine that your body could become like an empty vessel,

Like a blank canvas that is simply waiting and ready to be filled,

To be painted with all the things that can serve you.

With your mind's eye,

I want you to intentionally start to fill this vessel of your body back up.

Whether this be with intentions is how you'd like to feel,

Thoughts that could serve you.

This could be as simple as just wanting to feel love.

Just very gently sending love throughout your body,

Filling it up.

And maybe you want to sweep gratitude over your body,

Feeling it flow from the crown of your head to the tips of your toes,

Filling you and expanding out.

Taking these next few moments to fill yourself up with whatever you need.

Just being aware of how your body feels when you flow these different things through you.

Understanding what it's like to embody these sensations,

These emotions.

And taking your time just very gently,

Allowing that visualization to just fade away.

Feeling your body as it feels in this moment.

I want to invite you to just center your attention right on your heart.

Feeling the breath expanding the heart on the inhale,

Opening the chest just a bit.

Feeling the heart surrender,

Relax on the exhale.

As we sit here in this space,

Connecting with this part of you where love resides,

Where love is received and love is given.

I would like to invite you to allow this intention,

If it feels good and right,

To simply flow from me to you right into your heart space.

And that intention is that you are enough.

That you,

Just as you are,

Are enough.

And everything you do is enough.

Allow this to fill your body.

Allow yourself to embody this intention,

This message,

This truth.

Together,

Take a deep breath in,

Fill up your body.

Open your mouth and just let the air out.

Start to place your left hand on your heart.

Feeling the connection of your hand pressing into your heartbeat.

Your heartbeat beating into your hand.

Then allow your right hand to simply fall right on top of your left.

Feeling the comfort of your left hand beneath your right palm.

The comfort of your right hand pressing into your heart.

Just allow the connection that we created today,

The love,

The gratitude,

To just flow from your hands into your heart.

Filling you up just one last time.

As you bring your focus of your left palm pressing deeply into your heart,

I would like to close just by allowing you to know that you are seen.

You are heard.

That I honor you,

Mother to mother.

Taking all the time you need,

Perhaps allowing your hands to fall back to your thighs or wherever else feels comfortable for you.

Taking time to slowly allow your body to come back in this space.

Allowing your breath to come back into your body.

And when you're ready,

Just simply allowing your eyes to open.

And when you're ready,

Just simply allowing your breath to flow.

And when you're ready,

Just simply allowing your breath to flow.

This is SO beautiful, so helpful. My daughter is struggling right now, and this helped me to understand I’m meeting her in a good and right way.
