In this track, Ven Canda chants the Karaniya Metta Sutta and a blessing Chant. This chanting is dedicated to all beings everywhere - nobody is excluded. Feel free to dedicate your partaking in this chanting to whomever you feel inspired to. A Buddhist nun since 2006, Ven Canda emphasises kindness and letting go as a way to deepen stillness and wisdom, and her teachings are richly informed by the compassion and pragmatism of the Early Buddhist Texts.

So let's just close our eyes for a couple of minutes and connect with the beautiful intentions to spread loving kindness empowered by the Buddha's own words,

Own teaching on loving kindness in the Karanayametta Sutta and inviting the devas,

All the noble beings,

The Buddhas and the Bodhisattvas,

All those walking on this noble path to support us in our beautiful intentions to generate and spread and share and bless all beings including those specific beings that you're bringing to mind right now.

The hope that our loving kindness can help heal and soothe any sickness,

Physical,

Emotional or mental,

Bring inspiration and uplift and joy to their hearts and to our heart as a by-product.

So Anna is with me also today in her beautiful home and she hopefully will chant along too.

You may hear two voices today.

So when you're ready we can start.

You're welcome to join in or just listen as you wish.
