Find a comfortable seat or perhaps lay down.
We are going to do a body scan.
For the next 10 minutes,
You are going to focus on various aspects of your body,
Allowing your mind to calm and reconnect with that part within you that is calm,
Balanced,
And peaceful.
Want you to take a deep cleansing breath.
We are going to do three inhales and three exhales.
Want you to breathe deeply into the pit of your stomach,
Feeling the life-giving air come in through your lungs,
Down into your diaphragm.
And then allow that air to come back up through your mouth and into the world.
Now,
With your eyes closed,
I want you to imagine that at the top of your head is a white soothing warm light.
Imagine that light spreading over the top of your head.
It's warmth soothing you,
Calming you,
Helping you feel connected to the energy of the universe.
Allow that energy to spread with warm white light as it goes down your head,
Spreading through your face,
Your ears,
And into your throat.
Allow it to sit there,
Warming your throat chakra.
Feel it help you release those tense muscles that maybe have been keeping you from sharing your wisdom with others or for speaking up.
Find your voice in that warmth.
Allow that white light to strengthen that voice.
Now,
Let's allow the white light to move down into your chest.
Allow that to center around your heart chakra.
What do you feel here?
Do you feel guarded?
Perhaps some tension or not?
Maybe even a bit of grief,
Sadness.
Allow that white light to calm that energy.
Feel yourself become enliven with the energy of the universe as it heals that place.
Feel your heartbeat as it reminds you that you are alive today.
Feel the gratitude for that.
Feel the warmth spread all around your chest as it represents the life-giving energy of the universe.
Allow that white light to travel down into your gut,
Your sacral chakra.
Allow it to rest there to warm those areas,
To release any tension you may be holding.
Perhaps past traumas or pains reside there.
Allow that warm healing light to heal those areas,
To gently show compassion for those areas.
Relax into the comfort of being held.
Allow the white light to continue moving down into the root chakras.
The warmth spreading,
Relaxing you,
Caring for you,
Giving you love and compassion that you so deserve.
Feel a primal connection to the universe.
Feel connected to its energy and its life force,
Renewing you.
Continue on and allow that white light and the warmth to spread throughout your legs,
Into your feet,
Healing any aches and tensions you may have in those areas.
Now allow that light to go out through your toes and return to the universe.
Take three deep cleansing breaths again.
And on your left breath,
Open your eyes,
Wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Stretch your arms out wide,
Wrap them around your shoulders and give yourself a hug.
Move on through your day and night knowing that you are loved.
You are seen and you are held with compassion.
Allow yourself to awaken with intention.
