Welcome to this Ho'oponopono meditation,

A powerful Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness.

Find a comfortable position either sitting or laying down and gently close down your eyes.

Take a deep breath in,

Feeling the air filling your lungs and exhale slowly releasing any tension or stress from your body.

As you settle into this moment let go of any thoughts or distractions.

Allow your breath to become your focal point.

Feel the gentle rise and fall of your belly as you breathe in and out.

With each inhale imagine breathing in a sense of peace and clarity and with each exhale let go of any worries or restlessness.

Now let's enter into the heart of the Ho'oponopono meditation.

This practice is a pathway to healing,

Forgiveness and reconciliation.

The meditation consists of four key phrases.

I am sorry,

Please forgive me,

Thank you,

I love you,

I am sorry.

Your sincere acknowledgement of any pain,

Suffering or harm that has been experienced.

Please forgive me,

Your heartfelt request for forgiveness for any conscious or unconscious actions that have caused pain or suffering.

Thank you,

Your expression of gratitude for the opportunity to heal and grow through forgiveness.

I love you,

Your declaration of love and compassion for yourself and others.

Acknowledging the interconnectedness of all beings.

This meditation is especially meaningful if you've experienced trauma.

As you embark on this journey of healing,

Allow yourself to feel supported and helped by the collective energy of this practice.

Now settle into your breath once more,

Feeling grounded and connected.

Breathing long and deep and begin by bringing to mind any person,

Situation or event that may be causing you pain or distress.

With each breath draw this person or situation closer to your heart center.

Allow any emotions that arise to be present without judgment or resistance.

As you hold this person or situation in your heart,

Repeat the four key phrases of this meditation either silently or out loud.

I am sorry,

Please forgive me,

Thank you,

I love you.

Allow the weight of these words to penetrate deeply within you.

Feel the sincere remorse for any pain experienced,

The earnest request for forgiveness,

The heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to heal and a powerful declaration of love and compassion.

As you continue to breathe and repeat the phrases,

Visualize a soft and healing light enveloping the person or situation in your heart.

See this light gently dissolving any pain or hurt,

Bringing forth a sense of peace and reconciliation.

Now turn these phrases towards yourself.

Acknowledge any pain or suffering you may be holding within.

Offer yourself the same compassion and forgiveness you would extend to others.

Repeat the phrases with sincerity.

I am sorry,

Please forgive me,

Thank you,

I love you.

Feel the weight of self-compassion lifting any burden you may carry.

Allow yourself to be held in the tender embrace of healing and love.

In this moment,

Extend the Ho'oponopono meditation to all beings,

Especially those who have experienced trauma or pain.

Visualize a web of healing and reconciliation connecting all of humanity.

With each breath,

Imagine this web of light expanding,

Touching the hearts of those in need of healing.

See the power of forgiveness and love ripple through the collective consciousness,

Spreading peace and compassion to all.

As the meditation comes to a close,

Take a few moments to simply be with your breath.

Feel the sense of peace and connection within.

Know this practice is always available to you as a pathway to healing and transformation.

When you are ready,

Gently bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Wiggle your fingers and your toes,

Open your eyes,

Carrying the energy of forgiveness,

Healing and love with you as you move forward.

That was so very powerful. A thousand thanks and many blessings from PA. ✨ I’ve often wondered how to pronounce it/the meaning behind it.
