Welcome.

Let's find a comfortable position and close the eyes.

Begin to settle in.

Begin to relax.

Begin to bring your awareness into the present moment.

Relax the shoulders.

Relax the jaw.

Give yourself permission to be here now.

Let's take a deep inhale together and exhale,

Let it go.

Again,

Deep inhale,

Fill the body with breath and exhale,

Let it go.

One last time,

Deep inhale and exhale.

Release the breath.

As we begin to settle into our posture,

Let's bring our attention to the present moment.

Using breath,

Let's continue to anchor our awareness in the present moment.

Exhale present moment.

Exhale present moment.

Try this a few times.

With every inhale,

Repeat to yourself present moment.

And with every exhale,

Repeat present moment.

As we begin to carve out a space in the present moment,

Let's begin to set aside the past.

With your next inhale,

Inhale present moment.

And with your exhale,

Send away the past.

Inhale present moment.

Exhale,

Send away all things that happened before this moment.

Each inhale,

We continue to establish our presence in the present moment.

And with every exhale,

We distance ourselves from the past.

For example,

Inhale present moment.

Exhale the past,

Driving to work,

Eating breakfast,

Talking on the phone,

Sending emails.

Inhale present moment.

And again exhale the past,

Sending text messages,

Reading a book,

Going for a walk.

In that manner,

We release all the things that happened before this moment.

Try this a few times.

Inhale present moment.

Exhale the past.

Lol awareness in the present moment and we release the past.

We can inhale the present moment and exhale the future.

All the things that have yet to happen.

For example,

Inhale present moment,

Exhale the future,

Going to the grocery store,

Doing homework,

Sending more emails,

Watching TV.

Inhale present moment and again exhale the future,

Reading a book,

Writing in my journal,

Going to sleep.

Try this a few times.

Inhale the present moment,

Establish your awareness in the here and now.

And with every exhale,

Send away all the things that have yet to happen.

This moment creates space.

Now,

Once we have established our awareness in the present moment and we've set aside the past and the future,

We have created space in the present moment.

We have created space in the present moment and we have created space in the present moment.

Our mantra or our affirmation will now be with every inhale,

Present moment and with every exhale,

Present moment.

Try this a few times.

With every inhale and with every exhale,

Anchor the mind,

The heart,

The body,

The mind,

The mind,

The heart,

The body,

The mind,

The heart,

The body,

The spirit in the present moment.

As we inhale,

Present moment and as we exhale,

Present moment.

Know that the past is behind us and the future is in front of us.

But right here,

Right now,

We are in the present moment.

This is a time for healing,

For restoration,

For recovery,

For transformation.

In the present moment,

In the here and now,

All is well.

Our perspective is redirected toward things that matter.

Our heart begins to open.

We see,

We feel,

We embrace things as they should be seen and felt and embraced properly in the present moment.

Inhale,

Present moment and exhale,

Present moment.

Exhale,

Present moment.

Exhale,

Present moment.

Exhale,

Present moment.

Let's begin to bring our awareness back to the physical body.

Bring awareness back to the feet,

The hands,

The hips,

The shoulders.

Notice where you are.

Notice the quality of the mind.

Let's take one last breath.

Let's take one last breath together.

Deep inhale and exhale,

Release the breath.

Gently blink the eyes open into the present moment.

Thank you for meditating today.

See you next time.
