Subscribe Sit still,

Close your eyes and breathe deeply.

Try to breathe in for four counts and out for four counts.

In and out.

You are wearing a protective white space suit.

Imagine a big metal door like a spaceship hatch.

When you open the door,

You will see a very peaceful landscape,

Outer space.

Reach out for the door,

Gently push it and float on through.

You are floating in a deep black sky.

It is full of light though,

Stars and planets,

Moons and comets.

Enjoy the feeling of floating and the amazing view.

You are light as a feather.

You are safe and clear minded in your white shiny space suit.

You can see planet earth and you notice Australia.

Soon,

Someone will float up from earth to see you.

It will be someone who has upset or hurt you in the past.

You will probably feel angry or sad when you see them.

That's okay,

It is safe for you to feel your emotions here.

A small speck has appeared.

Here comes the person floating towards you.

Notice the look on their face as they come closer and remember that you are safe and protected by your space suit.

A small spaceship has also appeared and has popped open its lid for you.

It is going to collect all of your negative feelings and words and take them away to the cosmic rubbish tip.

The person has arrived now and is speaking to you.

They want to know why you are mad or angry with them.

Tell them how you feel.

Don't hold back.

When you are done,

Your words and feelings flow into the spaceship in a stream of red and the spaceship heads off for the cosmic space tip.

Now it's time to forgive the person.

You can say sorry too if you like and they might say sorry to you,

But it doesn't matter if they don't.

Just tell them that you forgive them.

Spend some time now forgiving yourself too for anything that you may have done to contribute to the problem.

As you forgive,

A white light from a nearby star surrounds you.

It feels warm and it nourishes you.

This is what it feels like to forgive.

Now it's time to gently float back down to earth.

Remember as you float that life is too short to hold grudges and to feel bad.

Sit until you reach your chair and when you are ready,

Wriggle your hands and feet,

Have a big stretch and open your eyes.

Like an air.
