Welcome to today's meditation,

A practice to calm your nervous system,

Reduce stress.

I invite you to bring your awareness to your breath and begin to tune in to the sounds,

Listening closely,

The sound,

The internal sound of your breath,

The sound of the raindrops and the music,

The frequencies.

Invite you to begin to extend out the exhale,

Slowing down the breath,

Becoming present,

Arriving.

As you slow down the breath,

You can feel a sense of calmness begin to waft over you as your nervous system slows down and every breath washes away stress.

Every breath,

Every exhale washes away anxiety and worry.

Imagine yourself letting this go with every exhale and really tuning in to whatever feeling of relaxation is present,

Even if it's just a little tiny bit.

Bringing your awareness,

Relaxing the muscles a little bit more and releasing any tension.

As we begin our journey today,

Our meditation,

Our practice together,

Will help you unwind,

Help you ease the tension,

And help you find a little bit more sense of freedom within you.

This is our goal for today's practice,

To look for that sense of freedom within you.

Freedom from the stress,

Freedom from the tension,

Freedom from the worry.

What does it feel like when you're in a moment without any of that?

What does freedom feel like?

Feel it.

I invite you to remember what that feeling feels like and practice feeling it.

Find it within you.

Sometimes we just need a reminder and we can find that sense of freedom within us.

And all it takes is a remembrance to come back to it,

And a breath to expand it,

And an exhale to let go of whatever was keeping us from that.

Can you let go?

Do you have the courage?

Are you brave enough to just let go?

Have you found that sense of freedom within you yet?

I invite you to breathe in through your nose and out through the mouth if you aren't already.

A nice gentle breath.

When you catch your mind drifting off,

You catch it way off on the side.

Just gently,

Softly,

Bring it back and find yourself in the middle.

It's just a practice.

We just spend a few moments a day practicing this.

So in life,

When you catch yourself indulging,

Drifting into worry and fear and doubt,

You can softly,

Gently let go and bring yourself back to freedom.

See if you can extend that breath out a little bit further now.

See if you can be a little bit softer,

A little bit more gentle.

As a little bit of tension builds with the music,

Can you avoid getting swept up in it?

Can you remain calm,

Soft,

Gentle,

And relaxed?

And now begin to visualize the day ahead of you today.

Carrying with you a feeling of relaxation,

Of trust,

Of freedom.

Free of worry,

Doubt,

Fear,

Stress.

Free,

Free.

How will the day look if you carry this with you?

Breathe it to life with an awareness on the breath,

Allowing the breath to continue to flow gently,

Smoothly,

Rhythmically.

As you visualize this day where you're free,

And as you visualize it,

You create it,

Expand it with every breath in.

As you prepare yourself to go into the day and we wrap up this practice,

Take one more full,

Deep breath in,

Expanding your chest,

Expanding your lungs,

Filling yourself with that sense of freedom,

Expanding it,

Holding in it.

Gently,

Softly exhale.

I thank you for tuning in to this practice today.

And I hope this helps you go through the day today a little bit less stress,

A little bit more freedom,

A little bit more happiness and joy.

And I hope to see you back here tomorrow for another practice.

Thank you.
