Welcome to today's meditation where I'll be guiding you to open your heart and let your spirit come through.
Find a comfortable place to sit down.
Gently close down the eyes and soften your body.
Inside your body there is a centre where love and spirit connect.
That centre within you is your heart,
The space in which you create from,
You feel from,
And the space where your spirit lies.
It is your heart that feels pain.
It is your heart that feels love.
It is your heart that feels compassion,
Forgiveness and trust.
It is your heart that seems empty or overflowing.
You can place a hand here on your heart centre.
Deep inside your heart is your spirit,
Your most true and authentic form of who you really are.
Spirit lies beneath the layers of physical sensations.
And to experience and live as your soul desires,
You must go into the heart and feel.
Every time you meditate and sit with yourself,
You are getting closer to opening the doors to experience your spirit shining light.
In this practice today,
We will listen to the messages our heart is sending us.
We will begin to clear and cleanse anything that no longer serves us.
We will begin to open our hearts to who we truly are.
You are a beautiful shining light.
You are a miracle here on this earth.
You are spirit.
You are love.
Letting go of all your thoughts and the outside world,
Taking a deep breath in here,
Breathing into your heart centre and release.
Let's do that one more time,
Deep breath here through the nose and sighing it out with me.
Becoming aware of your heart centre,
Placing your attention here on this magical place within you.
In your heart's most pure form,
It is open and full of life as the years have gone on.
Maybe things have happened to close your heart.
That is okay.
You are just protecting yourself,
But you are safe now.
I want you to give yourself permission to feel your heart breathing in here and exhale.
As you breathe in air,
Visualize a pastel light entering your heart,
A pure and calming air that is full of love and wholeness.
As it does this,
Gently ask your heart what it needs to say,
Softly,
And gently ask your heart to express itself.
Sit here and listen to your heart for the next few moments.
Your heart may begin to share memories,
Emotions,
Dreams you may have forgotten.
Give your heart permission to tell you your truth.
You may have strong emotions come through.
You may want to cry.
You may want to laugh.
That is okay.
Let the emotions arise.
Let your heart speak truthfully and then let them go,
Listening without judgment.
Just observe here what your heart is telling you.
As you practice this meditation and listen to your heart,
You will begin to understand what your spirit truly desires.
You will begin to release the fear and tightness that keeps spirit from entering.
Know that spirit is always there and love is always your pure form.
You just have to reconnect with it.
