Hello,

My name is Kari and this meditation is going to be for you if you feel like your heart is broken.

I'm doing this meditation because I feel like my heart is broken so everything that I'm going to do in this meditation is for me and I'm sharing it with you.

Maybe you will gain some healing along with me at the same time.

So let's just be together with our broken hearts for each other.

If you could sit in a comfortable seated position,

It doesn't have to be anything special,

Whatever is comfortable for you.

The first thing that you're going to do is close down your eyes,

Slow down your breathing so that it becomes more calm and regulated.

Just take a moment to bring your breath to a place that feels peaceful inside,

Something that's not too strained,

You're not trying too hard to make it too slow or anything,

Just a nice calm breath.

And then allow yourself to start to rock just a little bit,

Either forwards and backwards or side to side.

Side to side feels just right for me today so I'm going to allow my body to just start to feel its own rhythm and move side to side or rock forwards and backwards,

Both feel good actually,

So try them both,

See which one your body intuitively falls into which feels natural.

And the slight movements,

It's not a big rocking,

It's just a little gentle movement.

This is an unconscious movement that the body does when it needs to be soothed.

You might find sometimes naturally you do it all by yourself,

But we're encouraging this movement right now together,

We're self soothing our body which is going to start to self soothe our heart,

Our nervous system,

Our emotional state.

Then the next thing you're going to do is put your left hand on your heart and put your right hand on top of your left hand,

So that you're holding your heart,

Put pressure on your right hand,

Pushing into your body so that it feels like you're starting to give your heart a hug,

You're holding it,

Supporting it.

Keep rocking at the same time,

Just hold your heart,

Let it be held,

Let it be comforted by your own hands,

It's okay,

It's okay heart,

It's okay,

You're strong,

You're resilient,

You've been through so much before in the past,

It's okay to feel sad,

It's okay to feel broken,

It's okay to be hurt,

I'm right here with you,

I have you,

You're not alone,

You can take as much time as you need,

You can take as much time as it takes for you to feel complete and whole again,

It's okay to have lows,

Otherwise we wouldn't know the highs,

It's okay to have lows,

I'd rather have the highs and the lows than have a flat line life,

I'd rather feel everything to the fullest,

So it's okay that we're feeling what we're feeling,

It's okay,

I love you,

I'm glad that you're open and big and loving and kind,

I'm glad that you're beautiful,

I'm glad that you see the best in people,

I'm glad that you also have boundaries and you take care of yourself,

It's okay heart,

We're going to get through this,

It's like we're being tumbled into something smoother and shinier than before,

That's going to be really bright,

So just trust in the process,

Take a nice big deep breath and breathe into your physical heart,

Bring in some love,

Breathe out and let some of the heaviness go,

Breathe in and bring in some loving kindness for yourself,

Breathe out and let some of the hurt and the pain go,

Slowly come to a place of stillness in your body,

Take a nice big deep breath in through your nose and breathe out through your mouth and release any energy that needs to be released.

Let's do that again,

A nice big deep breath all the way down to your abdomen and then breathe out with a sigh or a release,

Whatever feels right for you.

Namaste,

My friend.
