Hello,

My name is Cori and in this meditation today I wanted to just guide you through a really quick and simple reset meditation.

When you have a lot going on and you're busy and especially at this time of year with all the hustle and bustle,

Sometimes even just sitting down for 20 minutes of meditation is too much.

It stresses you out to have to meditate which kind of defeats the object,

Right?

So I just want to do this really quick,

Simple sit down with me,

Let's step away from all the craziness out there for a few minutes and just re-center,

Reset.

Straighten your spine,

That's the most important thing that you need to do when you meditate.

This allows any information,

Any consciousness to come in through those higher portals and travel up and down the spinal column through the chakra system.

Easily and easily,

So straighten your spine.

Relax your jaw and soften your shoulders.

You might not realize how much tension you're holding in those places but just take a minute to really push your shoulders down.

Open your mouth a little bit and whittle your jaw around and then close your mouth gently and soften.

Close down your eyes if you haven't done so already.

Take a nice big deep breath in all the way down to the base of your tummy and really try and expand your ribs,

Your lungs,

Your abdomen.

And when you breathe out,

Exhale with some power,

Breathe out as if you're cleaning out all of the cobwebs from the inside.

So it feels a little bit like an aggressive deep breath in and a deep breath out.

Just do it a couple of times with me.

Another big deep full full breath in as if you're bringing something from the outside inwards,

Some kind of peace or relaxation.

Set an intention on your in-breath.

Maybe it's just pure clean breath that's coming in and cleaning out all of that negativity or stress or low energy.

And when you breathe it out,

Breathe out with power,

With force,

With some intention of release.

Now just let your breath fall into a natural,

Slow,

Calm,

Easy pace.

And let's just focus on the feeling,

The sensation of being still,

Quiet.

You're not trying to accomplish anything right now.

Enjoy the sensation of the blood circulating in the tips of your fingers.

It'll feel like a very slight buzzing sensation in your hands and your fingers.

Zone in and see if you can feel it.

Nothing crazy is going on right now.

All of that on the outside world isn't relevant and it doesn't exist right now in this moment.

You are just sitting quiet and still.

See if you can tune into your heart,

Pulse,

The rhythm,

And just let all of your focus and attention go there as you breathe in and out.

See if you can slow your breathing down just a smidgen,

Just enough to start to bring more peace into your heart rate and your heartbeat,

Enough to slow your heart down just a little bit.

Let your shoulders drop,

Let your mind feel at peace,

Focusing just on one or two small things.

Everything is good.

Right now in this moment,

All is well,

Right?

Everything is okay.

You're alive.

You can breathe.

Your body is working,

Your mind is beautiful.

Everything is okay.

And that's all that matters.

Take one final big deep breath with me,

All the way in,

All the way down and through.

Focus on the fall for a second and then breathe out,

Release,

Let go,

Feel good.

If you could bring your hands into prayer position,

Rest your thumbs on your third eye,

Bow your head slightly,

Feel the presence of that mudra in your hands,

Feel the calm space inside of your body.

And then say with me,

Namaste.

And so it is.
