Acceptance meditation is a practice that involves cultivating a non-judgmental awareness of the present moment and accepting things as they are, without trying to change or resist them. Through regular practice of acceptance meditation, we can learn to become more aware of our habitual patterns of thought and emotion and develop greater acceptance and compassion towards ourselves and others.

So as you all know,

Confidentiality is really important to me as an ICF credentialed coach.

So I will be using this recording for the purposes of keeping the record of the meditation.

All other parts I will keep outside of it.

So let's begin.

And with the sound of the bell,

Coming gently to awareness of your posture and letting comfort find you.

Noticing which part of your body is resting just a little with more ease.

Letting that ease come in even with your out-breath as you gently release any thoughts,

Even physical sensations,

Perhaps some tightness or discomfort.

All of it might be present and you might become aware that if you begin to look for it,

You will find it.

So releasing this attention to the pain,

The difficulties,

The discomfort,

Just gently coming into focusing on the out-breath.

Perhaps even gently whispering,

Releasing,

Releasing,

Releasing.

You may place your hand over your heart center or offer yourself warm hug and place your hands over your shoulders or the back of the neck,

Support your face.

Coming into awareness,

Where would the soothing touch,

Comforting touch settle the best.

So it reminds you of this intention to be kind,

Hold yourself,

Hold your whole self exactly as you are.

And gently notice this holding of yourself.

How does it feel like?

Is there any part of your body that particularly responds to that?

Or do you rather feel like you'd rest your hands in your lap and just focus on your breath and keep coming back to it,

Gently allowing yourself to be exactly as you are.

And in that being also to find this bravery,

To be kind to yourself,

To notice there is that part of you,

Compassionate self,

That is ready to hold you anytime,

All the time.

Gently bring your attention back to the soothing touch or your breath,

Releasing thoughts,

Coming back to holding yourself exactly as you are.

Gently wiggling with your toes,

Your fingers as well,

Back into gentle alertness,

Back to this circle.

And whenever you're ready,

Opening your eyes,

Offering your presence to all the friends.

And even if your camera is not on,

You may offer the smile.

And if your camera is on,

Then we can see the smile as well.
