Welcoming yourself into the space,
Wherever it is.
You might lie down or find a seated position that feels good for your body.
You might be supported by a wall or a chair or a couch.
And then tuning in,
Maybe allowing the eyes to fall closed and just beginning to witness yourself.
There are so many times during our day when we are pulled to the outside world,
Where we have to witness,
Observe,
And notice other people and other things and the experiences that we are a part of.
Sometimes we're involved in so much that we put that noticing of self to the side.
And when we do that often enough,
We almost forget how to witness ourselves,
How to observe and notice ourselves without judgment and criticism.
Inviting you to do that here,
To just notice.
Notice your body and notice your breath without wishing it was one way or another.
Noticing the state of your being or any emotion that you might be feeling in your chest or your belly or your head.
Become the most observant listener,
The most observant watcher,
Most observant feeler of yourself.
And then in your own mind to yourself,
Repeat these words.
I see you.
I hear you.
I feel you.
I love you.
Sometimes those last few words come with a lot of resistance.
Sometimes there's some pushback when we say I love you to ourselves.
And if so,
Let that be just another thing that you notice instead of breaking it apart or shaming yourself for not loving yourself.
Just notice.
Be the witnesser of how you feel.
Acknowledge.
Validate.
And when other things want to pull your attention away,
When other things begin to beg your attention,
Refocus on yourself.
Bear witness to your experience.
And one more time in your own mind,
Repeat these words.
I see you.
I hear you.
I feel you.
I love you.
And then take a big breath in from where you are.
Let's breathe it in through the nose.
And just sigh it out of the mouth.
Maybe you find yourself in a place where you can continue to just breathe and notice.
Maybe this was enough of a breath break and a check in and you come back to it at a later time.
But know that the space of being and bearing witness to self is always available.
If you're ready to move on into your day,
Do so perhaps with a little more awareness of body and breath.
Until we meet again,
From my heart to yours.
Namaste.
