Hello and welcome to meditation.
Find a comfortable position and you come into your body maybe feeling just the body as it is at this moment welcoming exactly things as they are without the need to change and without wanting them to stay longer just acknowledging what is and welcoming just as it is maybe you feel parts of your body that are calling your attention and so notice where we're in the body there is a call for your love for your ability to welcome again allowing things to be just as they are giving the space for whatever it is present to be present not just in your body but also in your thinking mind so welcoming thoughts that might cross your mind without making them go away or stay just from this place of being here now noticing whatever arises and with an attitude of embrace and curiosity and love allow all the thoughts to come and to also go when they have to noticing what arises and how what arises creates an automatic reaction to either be pleasant unpleasant or neutral to you and with the same attitude of welcoming of not judging just notice how this pleasant feel how this unpleasant feel how this neutral feel without getting entangled with the stories of why it is pleasant why it is unpleasant or neutral just noticing taking the seat of just awareness of all that comes into your awareness and as you take the seat of awareness whatever comes there's no grip but if it does that's the opportunity to be awareness and offer what awareness is here to offer which is pure clarity non-judgment space for whatever to arise to simply be you you you noticing the silence and the sounds that arise in the silence you you noticing awareness and the thoughts and sensations that arise in awareness this big infinite space where all is welcomed all of it without judgment without pushing it away and without making it stay even what feels pleasant or unpleasant is received by awareness the same way even the sensations in the body the automatic reactions of the body and of the mind of what is pleasant or unpleasant and neutral is always always welcomed without differentiation awareness as this infinite space of clarity of non-judgment where everything is welcomed equally so if sounds arise in the silence they are welcomed they do not disturb the silence beneath the sound but they are welcomed they are appreciated whatever sound they are whatever sensation in the body whatever thought that crosses the mind does not disturb the awareness that is aware of everything does not change the quality of awareness it just enriches and awareness is not afraid or avoidant of any of the sounds or of the thoughts or sensations it holds space for all there is like a mother so as you sit in the place of awareness you become this mother that loves this child that loves all that this child does and welcome and does not judge and wants to hold and nurture and has understanding and compassion this ideal mother even if your specific story of a mother was not like this awareness is all our ideal my mother loves welcome holds all that we are so when you sit in the sit of awareness you are this mother this loving space for all that comes for all that arises within you and you can offer this love you can offer this acceptance this understanding this compassion to the thoughts that arise to sensations in the body to reactions of pleasant unpleasant or neutral it's all included as awareness there's no differentiation there's no one that needs more than the other there's no one that is excluded all is welcomed and as you bathe yourself in this presence of awareness of loving awareness allow this presence to wash the body to wash the mind and welcome the whole or the sense of wholeness that awareness invites us to invite you to again check how does the mind feels right now how does the body feels right now and savor and nurture this bring it to the body and feel and create memory of this and as I ring the bell to end our meditation together I invite you to let the sound of the bell be like the water of the womb of this mother washing over nurturing and creating the memory and the sensations in the body allowing the vibration of the sound to be the sound of the bell.
How do you feel?
