Find a comfortable seat,
Either cross-legged on the floor,
Sitting on your heels,
Leaning up against a wall,
Or even sitting in a chair.
And once you do so,
Gently invite the eyelids to close.
Really just taking these first few moments to dip your toes into yourself.
To pay conscious attention to what's happening on the inside.
Physically,
Emotionally,
And mentally.
Maybe there was something specifically that drew you to this meditation.
Maybe there's some part of you that's calling out for love.
Calling out for forgiveness.
Calling out for attention,
Acceptance.
Just know as you start to drop into this experience that you are entirely capable of giving those things to yourself.
And all of your inner complexities,
All of those layers are worthy of your time,
Attention,
But most importantly,
Devotion.
So right away,
Thank yourself for showing up after hearing the call.
Thank yourself for making the time to give yourself exactly what you need.
Just connect to the breath here.
Notice how maybe as you hear these words,
Some parts of you expand and some parts of you maybe contract.
Vulnerability is a beautiful thing.
And to open up your heart in those moments of contraction is an amazing accomplishment.
So gently bring your palms together in front of your heart space.
And just set an intention to infuse your hands with your own love,
With your own forgiveness,
With your own nourishment,
Acceptance,
Anything else that's speaking to you right now.
Start to rub the palms together.
Good,
Keep rubbing them together up and down,
Up and down,
Infusing your palms with all of those qualities.
At least for 15 more seconds.
Feel those qualities build up within you and take up a little bit more space.
Moving down into the hands,
Down into the fingertips.
And then when you're ready,
Separate your hands apart,
Feel that energy pulsing between the palms.
And then naturally and intuitively place your hands somewhere on the body.
Don't overthink it.
Just allow your body to show you where this love is most needed.
Take a moment to fully receive it.
Feel each and every quality sink deeper,
Deeper into your skin.
Stay receptive,
Even if it feels vulnerable,
Even if it feels scary.
Allow yourself to take some conscious deep breaths.
Feel and then start to place your hands somewhere else on the body.
Don't overthink,
Just go.
Maybe it's the heart over the eyes,
The legs,
The belly.
Just continue to receive your own love,
Your own forgiveness,
Your own nourishment.
Beautiful.
Take a moment here to close out this practice by internally reminding yourself that you are worthy of all of these things.
Not only worthy of all of these things,
But so much more.
Thank yourself for showing up,
Thank yourself for carving out the time and space.
And know that this love will continue to integrate into every single cell of your being throughout the rest of the day today.
