Welcome.

My name is Emily and I'm so glad you're here.

This guided practice is an invitation to slow down,

Reconnect,

And notice what's happening within you without judgment.

There's no right way to do this meditation.

You don't need to clear your mind or change anything.

Simply allow yourself to be present exactly as you are and let this practice support you.

Find a comfortable position allowing your body to be supported.

Let go of any effort to hold yourself up.

Trust the surface beneath you.

Bring your attention inward toward physical sensation.

Notice the points of contact between your body and the floor or chair.

The weight of your body being held.

Begin a slow body scan starting at the top of the head.

Notice the scalp,

The forehead,

The space around the eyes and the jaw.

If you sense tension,

Simply acknowledge it.

Gradually move your awareness down through the neck and shoulders.

Notice any holding or tightness.

See if the breath can gently create space here.

Continue scanning through the arms,

The chest,

The belly.

Notice sensation without needing to label it as good or bad.

Just information.

Move awareness through the hips,

Legs,

And feet.

Feeling the full presence of your body just as it is today.

This practice is about listening,

Not fixing.

Your body communicates constantly.

When we slow down enough to listen,

We learn.

Take a few breaths appreciating your body for what it allows you to experience.

Movement,

Sensation,

Rest.

When you're ready,

Gently bring awareness back to your surroundings and open your eyes.

Before moving on,

Take a moment to acknowledge your body for supporting you.

See if you can carry this habit of listening into movement,

Rest,

And daily activities.

Let awareness rather than judgment guide you forward.
