Designed for beginners and anyone navigating burnout or emotional overwhelm, no flexibility required, just be willing to release tension. This course was born from a personal wake-up call. After years of pouring into others, my own body gave me a signal I couldn't ignore, a prediabetes diagnosis that reminded me that chronic stress doesn't just live in the mind. It lives in our blood sugar, our cortisol levels, our hips, our spine. These five poses are the poses I turned to as a daily practice, and the science shows exactly why they work. Chronic stress elevates cortisol, a hormone that directly raises blood sugar and keeps the nervous system locked in survival mode. Somatic yoga works differently than most movement, it targets the body's stress response at the root, helping to restore autonomic balance, regulate the vagus nerve, and bring the whole system back to safety.
