Good morning,

And welcome to your Rise and Ground Meditation,

Your daily reminder to ground,

Breathe,

And welcome the day.

Find a favorite place to sit,

Maybe by a window in a cozy chair.

You could still be in bed.

You can even listen as you brew your morning cup of coffee or tea.

Whatever space that is ideal for you today,

In this moment,

Is perfect.

And when you feel ready,

Slowly close your eyes.

Allow yourself to settle into your position.

Feel into the seat or cushion underneath you.

Allow your body to settle into its meditation position.

Allow your body to support you.

Know that the ground is supporting your body.

Know your body is supporting you.

Thank your body,

And allow yourself to breathe.

Allow yourself to live this day fully.

Gently take a breath in,

And slowly release the breath.

Again,

Gently take a breath in,

And slowly release the breath.

Allow your body to settle.

Feel your breath waking up the energy within,

And take in another gentle breath.

And slowly release the breath,

And embrace the natural flow of your breath.

And as you breathe,

Notice the muscles in your body.

Notice the muscles around your jaw.

Are they relaxed?

Allow the muscles in your jaw to soften,

Maybe even smile.

Allow the muscles in your neck to soften and rise,

And hold your head up high.

Now check in with your shoulders.

Are they relaxed?

Take a breath in,

And slowly breathe out,

Letting those shoulders soften into your body.

And follow this flow slowly down your back,

Softening the muscles in the upper back.

With every exhale,

Gently release any holding or tension in the spine.

And slowly work your way down to the lower back.

As your body softens,

Feel rooted in your space.

Feel your strength rise.

Feel your morning energy flow,

And open up to the sounds around you.

Open up to your awareness,

And listen to the sounds around you.

Maybe it's silent,

Or maybe you hear the sounds of life.

Don't create a story around the sounds.

Just listen and notice where you are.

Feel the energy of your breath.

Feel the warmth in your heart space.

Feel it radiate.

Feel your vibration.

Know that you are ready for this day.

And when you are ready,

Slowly open your eyes.

Be well.

Be light.

Namaste.

Just what I needed this morning after a super intense lucid dream that still had me flying. Thank you! ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ™

If you only have six minutes, this is a really good way to spend them!
