It is time to relax.

Feel your buttocks on the seat.
Relax your shoulders.
Relax your face.
Relax your mouth.
Make your out-breath longer than your in-breath.
Let's do it for some time.
Breathe in and out.
Next time you breathe out,
Make a sound.

Again,
Breathe in.
And out.
Continue to breathe in with an extended out-breath and really feel how you relax into that out-breath.
How your body starts to relax.
How your head starts to relax.
How you let go of all the tension that is stored in your body simply by breathing out.

Yeah,
You're doing it so well.
While you're sitting here,
You feel your body starts to relax.
Then just know that this is your time.
Even when you know that you will have to get up soon to do things,
This is your time.
This is your time to relax.
It is okay.
While you're sitting here,
Relaxing,
Gently close your eyes if they're not closed already and listen to what I have to tell you.
It is okay.
Everything is okay.
You are sitting right now,
Right here.
Nothing is going on.
It might be that a lot of things need your attention,
But right now you are here taking a moment for you.
That is okay.
It is okay to take it easy.
It is okay to take a moment to relax.
It is okay.
It is okay to take care of you.
It is okay to take some time to replenish,
To re-energize,
To just rest and be with you.
Life is supposed to be easy.
We so much tend to make it hard on ourselves.
We so much put up expectations.
We so like to make to-do lists and to check them off and only be satisfied when they're checked off.
But you can also take it easy when the to-do list is not checked off.
You are also entitled to rest,
To take it easy,
Even without a to-do list.
You don't have to do your to-do list all the time.
It is okay.
Take it easy.
Allow yourself to take it easy.
Allow yourself to slow down,
To take care of you,
To relax,
To soften,
To feel where you are at and to acknowledge that you need some time for you.
It's okay.
Take it easy.
Take it easy.

We're just going to sit here for one minute with your eyes closed.
One minute of quietness,
One minute of peace,
One minute of no demands,
No expectations.
And after this minute,
You will be right back on your feet,
Doing whatever you feel you have to do.
But now,
In your own pace,
In your own time.
Let's take it easy for one minute.
You allowed yourself to relax for one minute.
Well done.
If you feel you could take some more minutes,
Then just sit,
Relax,
Take it easy.
But if you know you have to get back on your feet and take some time to transition,
Bring your attention to your hands and your feet,
Wiggle your fingers and toes,
Bring your attention to your hands and your feet,

Stretch your spine and then gently open your eyes and acknowledge.
