Hello and welcome back.
My name is Christy and I hope that you are here to soften,
Enjoy,
Connect to the self and ultimately give yourself some abundant love.
Today's short,
Gentle,
Guided meditation is here to help when things are just feeling a little bit uneasy and you're just needing a short couple of minutes to come back to centre,
Back to the breath and connect.
So wherever you may be,
Closing down through your eyes,
Connecting into the breath and noticing the rhythm,
Relaxing at your shoulders as you just notice and not change the breath.
Softening and relaxing in the stomach,
Softening and relaxing in the mind,
The mind's eye and together we're just going to do three beautiful breaths to help slow it down and release the anxiety or the worries that you're feeling.
So we're going to inhale through the nose nice and deep,
Holding at the top,
Just keep holding for as long as you can and then pushing out,
Exhaling all the way out,
Inhale nice and deep base of the stomach,
Holding at the top and sighing and pushing out,
Letting go,
Releasing,
Coming to the centre.
Inhale base of the stomach,
Last one,
Holding at the top,
Squeezing the whole body,
Tightening as you hold that breath and sighing,
Releasing the body,
Letting go,
Coming to centre and just allow your breath to return back to a normal rhythm.
Just notice the breath change,
Noticing where you are supporting you,
Whether or not that's on a couch,
On the ground or in a bed,
Just noticing whatever is supporting you and holding you from Mother Earth,
Noticing the noises around you,
Noticing the furthest noise away,
What can you hear in the distance,
What is it so,
So far away,
The furthest noise and then noticing the closest noise,
What is that you can hear so close,
Apart from my voice,
What's the closest noise and then noticing the taste in your mouth,
Noticing what is in the mouth,
What about noticing the smells around you,
What can you smell as you breathe,
Just allowing all of your senses to be open,
Active as you keep noticing the breath as it comes in and as it comes out,
Grounding down,
Noticing what's supporting you again and saying in your mind's eye,
I am strong,
I am safe and I am confident to go about my day,
I let go of any fear or any worries that I'm holding on to,
My breath allows me to come back to presentness and back to centre,
As you allow that breath to keep on connecting you and grounding you,
This makes us come to the end of the meditation,
Keep allowing the breath to ground you as you continue on with your day ahead,
I hope that your worries or your concerns with the anxiety is softened just that little bit more,
Thank you so much for listening,
Join me again soon.
