Welcome,

And thank you for joining me today for today's guided meditation.

Find yourself a comfortable seat.

You can sit down,

You can lay down,

You can stand up.

Anything you want,

Anything that makes you comfortable,

For comfort is the key in this guided meditation.

Now that we've begun,

I will take you on a visual journey through the senses and through sound.

First,

I ask that we take a deep breath in through our nose,

And we will make a big exhale out through our mouth to set the stage of relaxation.

As we breathe in,

We breathe in the day's stress,

The day's work,

And with each exhale,

We blow out the day's work and the day's stress.

Each breath that we take fills us with life,

And each exhale that we take recycles the old ways that we hold inside of our bodies.

I ask now that you take your consciousness and bring your awareness down to the base of your spine.

Feel where your spine connects with the ground,

And visualize in your mind what it might look like,

What it might feel like,

To feel the force of gravity beneath your body,

Holding you safely to the planet,

Holding you securely in your seated position.

I also ask you to visualize with your mind a force from the planets in the sun above pulling your body up,

Pulling your awareness up to your consciousness,

Creating the balance which holds us here and now in this space,

Being pulled from each direction,

Holding us securely in the now.

Now we will take another breath in through our nose,

And again exhale through your mouth.

As you breathe in,

Visualize the oxygen as it is flowing inside of your body.

Visualize and see this gas coming all the way down to your toes.

As you carry the oxygen through your body,

It brings life to wherever your awareness goes.

And as you exhale,

Visualize from the tip of your toes again your breath flowing out all of that that no longer serves you in this present moment.

Together we will take that breath.

Each breath we take brings us deeper into a state of relaxation.

As we sink deeper into this relaxed state,

Our mind may tend to wander,

Which is natural and completely okay.

With each new thought that comes to your mind,

Evaluate,

Question the thought,

Ask this thought,

How do you serve me now in this present moment?

Everything that we've experienced in life is now in the past,

A time that served us,

A time that helped us get to where we are now,

But it no longer exists.

We no longer need to hold on to the emotions of yesterday,

To the problems and worries of yesterday,

For we are now in a moment that is brand new and whatever we choose it to be.

As your mind wanders,

You may think of the future and it's great to create a foundation and plan for the future,

But to stay in the future when you're not in the future is only taking you from this present moment,

Which is right now.

Right now is whatever you want it to be.

You have taken this moment to completely relax your mind,

Relax your body,

And you will deal with your responsibilities in another time,

But this is your time and this is your moment.

This is your time to relax.

Now we will take another deep breath in through our nose,

And this time we can exhale through our nose as well.

As you take this deep breath in,

Visualize and feel the oxygen flowing through your lungs,

Circulating through your body,

Helping to move things,

To create space in areas that haven't received fresh oxygen for some time.

You want to bring your visualization to your feet and imagine and visualize this oxygen swirling through you.

And as you exhale through your nose,

Imagine all of the oxygen that you've just cleaned through your body,

Blowing out that which no longer serves us.

Those emotions that no longer serve us in this present moment,

But that can be dealt with in another time.

We will take this breath together.

Your body sinks deeper and deeper into a relaxed state.

In this state,

You find peace and bliss.

And as our mind tends to wander,

That is okay.

It is okay to go through your thoughts,

But to consciously release them.

You thank them.

Thank you for coming to my awareness.

But in this moment,

You do not serve me and I allow you to be released.

Each thought that is released,

It can be dealt with in another time and brings you closer to the present.

It is called the present because it is truly a gift to place yourself in the only moment that exists,

Which is right now.

Right now is all there is.

Everything that you have done in your life has brought you to this very moment.

And you should be so proud of yourself.

You have accomplished so much and come so far in life.

And you are here now,

Which is exactly where you need to be.

As we've sunk deeper into this relaxed state,

I now ask you to visualize with your mind.

Imagine yourself now,

Sitting on top of your favorite mountain.

You are at the very tip,

Overlooking all of the land.

You see rolling hills and flat plains.

You may see mist in the very lowest point of the valley.

You feel the wind as it tickles the hairs on your neck,

The hairs on your arm.

As you sit in this place of complete peace,

You feel your spine connected to the ground.

You are calm and present.

As you look on the horizon,

You see the sun.

You may see the moon,

Both absolutely beautiful and radiating like never before.

You feel the light of these great,

Great,

Great planets.

And it beams through your body,

Relaxing you deeper and deeper.

As you look into the horizon,

You see birds sitting on the trees and flying through the sky.

You look up and you see an eagle as it watches over you,

Protecting you and guiding you.

As you sit on this mountaintop,

You feel the wind blow through your body.

As we take another deep breath in through our nose,

And as we exhale,

We slip deeper and deeper into relaxation.

In this place,

You are completely safe.

You are safe from all harm,

All distractions,

All pain and suffering.

Or we can save those emotions for another time.

This is your safe place.

You are calm.

Your mind is still.

And as your mind becomes calm,

Your body begins to heal.

As we release that that no longer serves us,

We become lighter.

The grudge we've held for four years against a sibling or a relative.

No longer bothers you.

That moment happened,

But it was four years ago.

You need not let the emotions of the past affect you in the present.

As you sit here on this mountaintop,

You can hear birds chirping in the background.

You hear the beautiful screech of the eagle as it flies so close you feel its wings brush against your face.

You smell the flowers for the field at the top of this mountain is covered in them.

The beautiful scent of all these flowers fills your body,

Fills your mind with peace and ease and relaxation.

If you find your mind wandering,

You can also bring yourself back to your breath.

Every breath that we take fills us with life.

Every exhale that we make releases our stress,

Releases our tension,

Releases our anxiety,

Allows us to set our body down and to just be.

We are human beings.

To just be is to heal.

When we heal,

We have clarity.

Our decisions become more clear.

We start to trust ourselves and to trust that everything works out.

And right now in this moment,

Everything is just right.

As we relax our mind and our body,

We learn to accept ourselves exactly the way that we are.

It is impossible to compare lives with others for they are not us.

And you are perfectly unique exactly the way that you are.

You are perfect exactly the way you are.

And if you were any other way,

You would no longer be who you are,

Which is yourself.

You are special.

You are important.

You are at peace.

Your mind is clear.

We accept ourselves exactly the way we are.

Exactly the way we are,

Okay?

Now that we are in this relaxed state,

We affirm who we are,

We accept who we are,

And we are at peace with who we are.

May you go about the rest of your day with peace of mind,

Knowing who you are.

As we release the past,

We release our traumas.

Our past no longer needs to define us.

It served us well,

And every moment was an important one.

But right now is when you have the power to be what you want and who you want.

Use the present for it is a gift,

And your life shall flow with beauty.

To listen,

And to feel.

And that you truly make a difference with every action you take.
