This meditation guides you into the gentle, courageous work of meeting your heart just as it is. Through mindful awareness, emotional attunement, and somatic presence, you’ll be invited to slow down, listen deeply, and explore what your heart is holding. Rather than forcing healing, this practice helps you develop an honest dialogue with your inner world — offering space for grief, tenderness, clarity, and compassion to arise naturally. This is not just relaxation; it’s a transformative process of becoming more fully available to yourself. A perfect practice when you’re feeling emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply ready to soften into deeper self-awareness. Ideal for: Emotional healing, self-compassion, nervous system support, and developing a consistent heart-centered practice.

Welcome to this meditation which was created for you to connect to your heart space.

Your heart chakra.

That organ which is in the center space of your body.

And the most strongest electromagnetic organ.

If you think about getting an EKG,

That EKG picks up on the electrical signals from the heart.

That doesn't pick it up from any other organ.

Even if you were to detect it on your wrist or at your ankles.

The pulsations of the heartbeat that run throughout your entire body is felt everywhere and beyond you.

And actually 9 feet beyond you.

That has been proven by the HeartMath Institute.

I will firmly argue that this is one of the most important organs or spaces within our body for us to pay attention.

So that we can deeply heal.

It is from my experience and many people that I have worked with,

That all have realized some blockage,

Unconsciously or subconsciously,

That has been created around the heart.

And so this meditation was created for you to deeply connect with the heart space.

So be prepared for moments of silence for you to do so.

And if you have not already done so,

Go ahead and find a seat or lie down and have your eyes closed.

As you begin to listen to my voice,

Noticing that there is silences between my words.

Noticing if you hear anything else around you,

Or even on my end.

Knowing that any sounds outside of my voice will only be there to support you,

To help you to go even deeper.

As you begin to just listen to your own breath,

And maybe hearing the pace that it's taking right now.

As I now have you simply focus.

Focus is a skill,

But it's a skill that you can continually enhance upon.

So why don't you go ahead and just focus upon your eyelids and feel how comfortably closed they are now.

Making them so heavy and relaxed and at the same time I'd like you to go ahead and shift your gaze up and in,

Into the space in between your two physical eyes and your forehead.

While your eyelids are still closed,

You may feel a slight strain here as you focus there.

And if you'd like to,

You can even imagine how in this space there is a blue black dot.

A blue black space right there.

And as you're focused on that space,

We're going to take three deep easy breaths in.

With each one inhaling deeply and at the top holding slightly,

And then gently exhaling,

With each release taking you even deeper.

With the first breath in,

Inhaling deeply,

And then letting it out as you maybe think to yourself,

Relaxed.

Doing that again,

Big easy breath in,

Filling your lungs,

Holding it slightly at the top,

And then slowly releasing as you think to yourself,

Relaxed.

And one last time,

Big easy breath in,

Holding at the top,

And then gently release as you get even more relaxed with the exhale.

As you now breathe more normally,

Still continuing to focus in that space now,

I want you to go ahead and begin to prepare yourself to count back from five to one.

And in that space,

You could even imagine the number right there in between your two physical eyes.

When I do get down to the number one,

However,

You will go ahead and allow your eyes to return back to the normal or your natural position.

Starting with number five,

Go ahead and imagine maybe number five in that space,

Just flickering,

Shifting.

On number four,

As you begin to relax yourself even deeper,

Settling in,

Seeing that four rotating as it flashes behind your eyes.

And number three,

Continuing to soften as you see that number.

Number three,

Hoping you relax even more.

And on number two,

Why don't we take one last big breath,

A big one,

As you inhale deeply,

And then let it out all easy on number one,

As you just relax and let your eyes return back to its natural position.

Feeling a sense of release as you breathe more easily now,

Feeling yourself settling down even more from that exercise.

Because you see each exercise that I do is a means to take you even deeper.

What does that even mean?

Deeper,

Deeper into a state of relaxation.

Deeper is another state,

An altered state of consciousness,

A state that feels like you're still awake,

But you're falling asleep.

As you begin to do a second exercise that will take you even deeper.

And at that moment,

You will find how deeply you can go by simply listening and following this direction to relax.

And so in a moment,

I'm going to have you very gently and easily open and close your eyes.

And so I'll help guide you into this exercise by counting simply from one to three.

And when I do,

You will gently open your eyes just slightly,

And then close your eyes back down.

Each time you do this,

You'll double your level of relaxation and go twice as deep.

Want to do this,

But you're the only one that can.

So each time I do it,

When I count from one to three,

You'll open and close your eyes and then you'll just double that level of relaxation and go twice as deep.

And we'll begin on one,

Two,

And three,

Just open and close as you find yourself drifting even more each time.

And again on one,

Two,

Three,

Open and close just slightly,

Allowing yourself to drift that much more.

And again on one,

Two,

Three,

Opening and closing as you just begin to drift.

And one last time on one,

Two,

Three,

Open and close as you just settle in even more.

And now just focusing upon those eyelids and just feeling how comfortably closed they are now.

Go ahead and notice how heavy and relaxed they are.

Why don't you make them super heavy and relaxed and even pretend,

Just pretend if you'd like to,

How comfortably closed they are now.

Make them so comfortably closed that even a thought of opening them will cause them to just lock down and become even more tired.

You can keep them very comfortably closed throughout this session because you wouldn't want to be bothered with any idea of opening them.

So just go ahead and keep them very comfortably closed throughout this session,

That even if you try to open them,

That you'll find that they remain very heavy and relaxed.

And you can now just simply pretend,

Pretend like a wave just rolled down your eyelids,

Rolling down and just relaxing your jaw,

Relaxing the tendons within your face,

Making it very loose and limp,

Going down into your throat,

Just relaxing your throat,

Going down to your shoulders and even pretending like a weight is simply lifted,

Feeling a sense of looseness or relaxation down through your arms,

Feeling your arms maybe becoming like ragdolls as they're loose and limp,

Maybe beginning to sense tingling or calm or light sensations as we go back up your arms to your shoulders,

Relaxing,

As we shift deeper into your chest space,

Feeling in your torso,

That whole space,

That space where your breath is,

That space where you can begin to notice your breath going up and down,

And wonder if you can even use your breath to help you to go deeper,

As you find that pace,

That perfect rhythm that is taking you deeper,

Without any thoughts,

Knowing that if there's any moment or time where your thoughts start to wander,

You can always come back to my voice,

Come back to this moment,

Or you can simply imagine,

Those thoughts can be placed inside a treasure box,

And you can close the lid,

Returning back to those thoughts or ideas that maybe you're having later,

But right now you won't want to be bothered by them,

As you created this space and time to be fully in this moment,

Right here,

Right now,

As you come back to your body and just settle in even more,

Going down into your belly,

Relaxing,

And down into your hips,

Just settling,

As we go all the way down through your thighs,

Making each tendon,

Each fiber,

More relaxed,

As you feel your knees behind your knees,

All the way down through your calves,

Your shins,

And your toes,

And just feeling your soles of your feet,

Just relaxed,

And you can even imagine as if your toes,

The soles of your feet,

Were grounded into the earth,

But feeling a sense that you've had before,

As you feel the earth beneath your toes,

Grounding you,

Holding you,

Feeling the weight of your body,

Supported by your toes and your feet,

And feeling a sense of planting,

And earthing,

Where you can imagine that your toes had roots that could extend out,

Grounding into the earth,

Feeling it go deep down through the dirt,

Into the crust,

And all the way down to the crystalline center of the earth,

You could even imagine as though you can pull back,

Kind of giving a little tug to those roots,

Noticing that they're really in there,

A sense of grounding,

Grounding your body,

As you now climb back up those roots,

Back up to your toes,

Back through your calves,

Your shins,

Back up through your hips,

Back up through your body,

Your torso,

Your stomach,

Your chest,

As we climb the energy back up through your throat,

Back up,

And all the way to the very tippy top of your head,

And even imagining that sensation,

A sensation where you walked outside for the very first time and felt the sunshine upon your face,

And maybe feeling a radiating light shining above your head,

And I want you to imagine that radiating light shining above your head,

As you can feel yourself deeply connected to the sun,

The sun,

Which is responsible for our waking and sleeping cycles,

That assist us to have that regular cycle and pattern,

Deeply connected to the earth as we rely on it,

Even for energy,

Now as you focus upon that crown space at the very tippy top of your head,

And that you bring your attention from that crown space,

All the way down through your mind,

Through your head,

Back down past your throat,

As we go down into that seat within your heart,

Settling in into your heart space,

As you focus in that heart space,

Let's begin to get a little bit more quiet,

As you really drop into that space,

The heart,

I wonder if you can begin to really listen to it,

If you can feel its beat,

As you start to hear its throbbing,

Do so however you do,

Maybe it's just to listen to the pulsations of the blood that is circulating throughout your entire body,

Which is pumped by the heart,

So maybe you'll feel pulsations in your fingers,

Or even in your head,

In your ears,

Or down in your toes,

Just pick up on the heart,

But at the same time feel its pulsation,

Its waves,

Maybe it's not necessarily one pulsation,

It's just a thumping,

You may even think,

Am I imagining that,

And it's okay if you are,

I'm going to go ahead and just be silent for a bit,

So you can just really pick up on that pulsations,

That wave,

That goes from the heart,

And spreads out through your entire body,

Just pick up on that pulsation,

Don't allow your mind to distract you,

As you just continue to come back to the heart,

And if this is a challenge for you,

It's okay,

It's all part of the practice,

To just listen to it.

Now another interesting thing you can do is,

Let's just follow our breath,

With the heart,

So let's take a big breath in,

And if you hold it,

At the very top of your breath,

Most people are able to hear their heart even more,

Go ahead,

Hold your breath for as long as you can,

As you pay attention to that heart,

As it maybe works a little bit harder,

To use the oxygen that you pulled in,

To spread it throughout your body,

Do that a couple of times if you like to hear,

And just notice what you feel,

What you sense,

What you hear,

Feel free to play with your breath,

As you begin to listen,

To begin to know your heart,

As your heart begins to know you.

Now the next part I'd like you to do,

Is to begin to scan your heart,

Now you may have already done this,

And noticed something,

Most people do begin to notice,

Either a feeling,

It could be a sense of resistance,

A block,

A ping,

An interesting feeling that may not feel clear,

It's just a feeling inside,

That there may be something that is heavy,

And if you feel that,

This part is for you,

To help you begin to understand what that is,

Because you see a lot of us do tend to have blocks within our heart,

It is the most focal place of protection,

It's like having a broken heart,

Each time we have been hurt,

Or had sorrow,

Or pain,

We create coping,

That coping becomes a barrier,

A block,

A protection,

And so I want you to just begin to notice any different sensation that you feel,

That isn't comfortable,

Or that is discomforting in some way,

And as you find that feeling,

That sense within you,

You can begin to ask it,

What is this?

As you position yourself with more of a curiosity,

Just go ahead and ask that feeling,

That sense,

Why are you here?

Notice if you get an answer,

Notice what it says,

Be sure to not use that logical ego mind,

But to really just feel,

Creating a space for you to listen to authentically what your heart is saying to you.

Some of the most common themes is that it just wants you to listen to it,

And in this case,

People will experience an overwhelming emotion,

Something that may be coming to the surface of just wanting to be heard,

To be seen,

To be felt,

Or it's been hurt,

And it needs protection,

And therefore is a hurt part.

If these common answers are what you receive,

Then go ahead and just give it that,

Letting it know that you are protecting it,

You are here,

You are loving it,

You are giving it what it needs so that it can feel free,

To feel open.

I'm going to be silent as you create that internal dialogue with that part,

That part that may feel like resistance,

Or discomfort,

Or block,

So that you can begin to heal.

I hope that that time was helpful,

And that you gained some insights from your own self,

Because you do have the answers within you.

I'd like to share a really fascinating understanding of the heart,

That I'd like to think about.

How the heart is so deeply connected to the earth.

Now if you were to look up a picture of the heart,

And how it's electromagnetic field radiates from the body,

You will see that it creates almost this donut shape.

And if you were to look at the earth,

And it's electromagnetic field,

You will also see that it creates a donut shape.

The electromagnetic field of the earth is the system that birds rely on to navigate,

To go north,

Or to go south,

Or to go where it is that they must go to survive,

To live.

It is so deeply ingrained in their nervous system,

As their heart follows the heart of the earth.

Now I believe that our heart is just the same.

That our heart is an electromagnetic guiding system,

Just like a compass is.

As you use the compass that reads the magnetic field of the earth guides you,

Telling you what direction to go.

Now if we have blocks,

Or barriers,

Or kind of like a compass system having dirt,

Or muck,

Or dust within it that is blocking it from turning,

We will not know where to go.

And so cleaning out is kind of the work that we're doing here today.

Clearing,

Listening,

So that it can guide us to what it is we're here to do.

Our sacred journey of why we're here,

As a human species,

Or as an individual,

And I thank you for this time,

Your patience,

Your understanding,

And at the end of the day I send you a heartfelt gratitude for your space here listening,

Helping to change the world by changing yourself for the better.

As you come out of this state beginning to shift as you feel your hands and your toes,

Feeling your body in the space that it's in,

As I begin to give you suggestions to come out of that state,

And if you'd like to stay there longer you can ignore these suggestions,

But go ahead and start to move and shift your fingers and your toes.

Maybe start to breathe deeply as you move that energy throughout your body,

Beginning to wake it up,

Sending gratitude,

Love,

And appreciation to your to that physical body.

As you come out more and more,

To the sound of my voice,

To the moment we're in,

As you maybe start to crack open your eyes,

Taking notice to where you are,

As you just find yourself in a seat as an observer still,

Of calmness,

Of relaxation,

Of gratitude,

As you begin to come out more and more,

And I leave you today with a heartfelt thank you.
