Welcome to my peaceful universe.

Today we'll be making time to nourish and nurture ourselves by welcoming the present moment.

Find a quiet place where you can sit or lay and rest your mind and body without any distractions.

If you're sitting on a chair,

Allow your spine to adopt a relaxed and alert posture without being tight and rigid.

Place your hands on your lap or by your sides and gently close your eyes.

Imagine that your body is planted firmly on the soft nourishing earth and slowly you can feel your body sinking in deeper and deeper and deeper.

If you're sitting on a chair,

Allow your body to be soft and nourishing.

Imagine that your body is planted firmly on the soft nourishing earth and slowly you can feel your body sinking in deeper and deeper and deeper.

Gently allow your heart to become soft and open.

When we meditate,

It's a beautiful invitation to listen and practice being in harmony with things exactly as they are.

It's a time of non-doing where we purposefully make time to cultivate stillness and just become fully present.

When we meditate,

It's a beautiful invitation to listen and practice being in harmony with things exactly as they are.

It's a time of non-doing where we purposefully make time to cultivate stillness and just become fully present in each moment.

It's about feeling what you feel and befriending all your experiences with a kind and loving heart and cultivating an attitude of self kindness and patience.

You may notice that the mind may begin to wander off,

Chattering away,

Analysing,

Worrying and judging during this practice.

Please be patient with yourself each time this happens as this is perfectly okay.

This is the nature of the mind.

Don't try and push it away or stop it.

Simply recognise and witness that the mind has wandered off.

You may even wish to note the word thinking each time your mind wanders,

Then lovingly redirect your attention to your in-breath and out-breath.

Now let's begin our practice today by checking in.

Ask yourself,

What am I experiencing right now?

Now let's begin our practice today by checking in.

Ask yourself,

What am I experiencing right now?

What thoughts are around?

What is the meaning of being aware of the mind's thoughts?

What feelings are around?

What sensations can I feel coming and going?

What is the meaning of being aware of the mind's thoughts?

Maybe you're holding tension in a particular part of your body,

Or perhaps it's showing up as some kind of tightness,

Pressure or tingling.

Allow yourself to acknowledge whatever you're currently experiencing and allow yourself to simply observe,

Letting go of the urge to resist or push away any thoughts,

Feelings or sensations in this moment.

Now let's begin our practice today by checking in.

Now I'd like you to focus your attention on your breathing,

Focusing on the sensations of your breath as it moves in and out of your belly.

Notice how your belly expands as you breathe in.

Notice how your body is moving in and out of your belly.

Notice how your body is moving in and out of your belly.

Notice how your belly is moving in and out of your belly as you breathe in and out of your belly.

Notice how your belly is moving in and out of your belly as you breathe in and out of your belly.

If your mind wanders away to other thoughts,

Feelings and sensations,

That's not a problem.

Try not to change them or make them go away.

In a loving kind way,

Acknowledge their presence,

Allowing them to be there and gently bring your attention back to your breathing.

Feeling your belly gently expand as you breathe in and relax as you breathe out.

Each time your focus moves away from the sensations of breathing,

Gently but firmly return to the sensation of your next breath.

Enjoy resting here for a little while,

Simply paying attention to your breathing.

Now slowly expand your scope of awareness to sensing the whole body breathing in this moment.

Being aware of sensations throughout your body as your whole body breathes in and out.

You may notice sensations at the level of the skin or deeper inside your body.

If there are any strong feelings around,

Maybe say to yourself,

It's okay that you're here,

There's so much room for you.

And see if you can allow yourself to gently breathe with these feelings.

If your mind wanders off to thinking and sensations,

Simply acknowledge them and remember that's not a problem.

You may wish to note them as thinking or feeling and lovingly bring your attention back to your whole body breathing in and out.

Enjoy doing this for a little while now,

Just resting and relaxing as you feel your whole body breathing.

It's time to relax.

It's time to return now.

Gently place one hand on your heart and rest your attention there.

And softly affirm,

Everything is perfect as it should be in this moment.

And feel your heart smiling.

Take a moment now to give thanks for making this time for self-care and nourishing your health and wellbeing.

When you're ready,

Take a big deep breath in,

Filling your lungs and belly with fresh oxygen.

And as you breathe out,

Slowly bring your awareness back into the room you're in.

Gently stretch your toes and fingers and slowly open your eyes.

Wishing you peace and love,

Isabelle.
