A guided practice for reducing anxiety, for trusting yourself and your inner creativity. In the Yogic tradition the Svadhisthana chakra, or sacral area, is our centre for creative expression. This practice helps to overcome self-consciousness and unlock creative potential. The background music was created by Isabel specifically for this guided practice. "Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he (she) grows up." - Pablo Picasso

This practice encourages connection to your individual creativity.

Through activating the sacral area of your body,

You may gain trust in your flow,

Your feelings and your passions in life.

So wherever you are,

Allow yourself to settle and your mind to relax.

Let go of anything that you've been holding onto in your thoughts today.

You can always come back to these later,

They will be there waiting for you.

For now,

Become centred in this moment.

It's okay if thoughts do arise,

Just when you notice them,

Gently bring your attention back to the sound of the music.

Close your eyes or lower your gaze and tell your body to relax.

Release your shoulders,

Allow the tension around your eyes and forehead to dissolve.

Be aware of your breathing.

Continue to breathe deeply in your own time as we move through this practice.

Let your breath anchor you in the present moment.

Bring your attention to your abdomen,

The lower area of your stomach.

Visualise a glowing orange ball of light resting here.

The light is vibrant.

This orange light starts to spin.

Like a whirlpool of light,

It is spinning and begins to spread out slowly.

Soon the sacral area of your body is filled with an orange glow.

You feel power here.

As you breathe in this orange light,

You are filled with creativity and fulfilment.

As you breathe out,

You are releasing all blocks and toxins.

Rest with this glow in your sacral area and repeat the following phrases in your mind.

I am a creative being.

I can balance my emotions.

I enjoy healing pleasures in my life.

I trust my feelings.

This orange glow within your sacral area is your centre for creativity and healthy pleasures.

Feel the flow of energy that you can create here.

Turning to your breath,

Notice the natural movement of your belly as you breathe in and out.

Take a moment to visualise yourself freely moving in your favourite way.

This might be something like throwing a frisbee or dancing freely.

Perhaps moving through some yoga poses.

Take any pressure off yourself to move in a particular way and let it flow naturally.

Choose to listen to your body.

Let yourself smile and feel the freedom of this moment.

Joyful expression.

Embracing the inner child.

Cautious.

If your mind wandered during this meditation,

Release any judgement you have towards yourself.

Be grateful for taking this time to be still.

As you continue your meditation process,

Release any judgement you have towards yourself.

Be grateful for taking this time to be still.

Be grateful for taking this time to be still.
