Transcript

Let's start by making sure our body is ready to enter into a restorative state Bring your spine straight Relax your shoulders and neck down Soften your eye gaze Soften your belly Soften the muscles in your hands Relax your jaw Relax your tongue Feel your feet connected to the ground Take some deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth And on your third breath gently close your eyes Drop your awareness down into your heart center Bring all of your attention and presence into the center of your chest If it helps place one or both hands on your chest Notice the movement of your heart center Notice the sense of stillness when your attention is here Now bring to mind a person,

Place,

Future event,

Or thing you are grateful for It could be as simple as your morning cup of coffee Keeping your attention mostly in your heart center Notice the impact this gratitude has on your body Maybe you notice more flow in certain areas Maybe you notice it brings a smile to your face Maybe you feel brighter See if you can expand these sensations Can you make the experience of gratitude in your body bolder?

Can you savor these sensations even more?

Can you double the amount of gratitude you feel in your body?

Alright,

Let any imagery you have go,

Keeping all your presence in your heart center for a few more moments Now let's bring our awareness behind our eyes Sense your feet connected to the floor Listen for the sounds around you And when you feel ready,

Gently open your eyes
