Welcome.

This breathwork practice is to help you find the sweet spot of slowing down.

Most of us have a hard time shifting from the fast pace of life into the slowness.

What we're going to explore today will actually start with speeding up our breath just a little bit so that we can let go of residual built up energy and quickness that's lingering in our bodies and then we're going to find this beautiful place of slow,

Sweet flow.

So our practice will begin by breathing through the mouth,

We're going to pierce our lips like we're sucking through a straw and we're going to breathe for 10 breaths and then take a pause and then we'll do 10 more and each breath will go belly,

Chest,

Exhale.

So we inhale into the belly,

We inhale into the chest and then we exhale release with ease.

So belly,

Chest,

Relax.

We'll do this 10 times.

I'll guide you to pause in between.

We'll do 10 more and then from there we're just going to breathe long,

Slow breath through our nose,

Really gentle,

Speeding up then slowing down.

So find yourself in a comfortable spot position,

You can be laying down or sitting up and if you have any busy energy here that needs to move,

You can shake your legs,

Shake your arms and then we'll begin our full breath.

Here we go.

Gentle breath in,

Easy breath out.

Piercing your lips,

We breathe belly,

Chest,

Exhale.

Belly,

Chest,

Exhale.

Belly,

Exhale.

One more breath.

Belly,

Chest,

Breathe all your air out,

Big exhale and just hold your breath at the bottom of your exhale.

Sit here for a moment.

All the breath emptied from your body and when you're ready,

We'll start again.

Pierce lips,

Belly,

Chest,

Exhale.

Breathing all your air out,

All your air out,

Holding at the bottom,

Just find stillness here.

When you're ready,

Breathing in through your nose,

Nice long,

Slow breath in.

Long,

Slow breath out through the nose.

And perhaps just seeing if your body might want to sway.

Just a tiny bit here.

As you find this gentle breath,

We sink into this slow movement.

This slow breath.

Really follow what feels good here.

Maybe your spine moves in slow,

Gentle circles.

Letting the slowness of this movement and breath bring you deeper into your body.

We're letting your body unwind.

Deep breath in.

Easy breath out.

Find flow here.

Let your mind dissolve.

And becoming curious,

What's here for you in this slow place?

Maybe as you slow things down,

You notice some Maybe as you slow things down,

You notice some sadness or tenderness underneath.

Perhaps you notice some pleasure,

Some sense of,

Oh,

This feels good,

This is relieving.

And maybe this place feels challenging for you,

And that's okay.

Can you explore what might feel good?

And just taking these last few moments here to sway,

To circle,

To indulge in this slow spiraling of life energy that wants to move through you.

Letting your body be nourished by this sweet,

Slow place.

And just settling into stillness for our last minute here.

And just settling into stillness for our last minute here.

Last few gentle breaths through the nose.

And may you carry some of this juicy slowness into your day,

Into your life.
