Hello and welcome to this short happy place meditation.

I invite you to find a comfortable position for your body,

Seated or lying down.

Once you're there,

Closing the eyes if you like.

Just taking a few moments here to really let yourself arrive right here,

Right now.

Ups,

Imagining on these next few exhales that this out breath is creating a beautiful protective bubble of light around you,

This space,

In this time.

There's nowhere else to be,

Nothing else to do.

Feeling your body in this space right now.

Feeling the temperature of the room,

The sensation of air as it crosses your skin.

Noticing all the points of contact your body is making with support,

Whatever is holding you up,

The earth.

And letting these next few exhales allow your weight to sink more into the earth,

Beginning to release some of what you're carrying.

I invite you to call to mind now your most happy place,

Real or imagined.

A place that brings you so much peace,

Joy,

Calm,

Whatever it is you need right now.

Allowing all of the visual details of this magical place to appear now in your mind's eye.

Drinking in just a little bit more with each inhale and allowing the other sensory details of this place,

All of these sensory details that make it feel real in this moment.

Letting them swell to mind into the scene now.

Noticing if there are sounds,

There are smells.

Perhaps beginning to explore this beautiful peaceful place and noticing any tactile sensations.

Anything underfoot,

Anything you can touch.

It's inviting.

Continuing to breathe in all of the richness,

All of the peace of this place.

Perhaps imagining finding the most incredible place to relax,

To rest in this place.

A spot that looks like it was created just for you.

Finding yourself resting here,

Breathing and being.

You breathe in all that this place has to offer.

Perhaps taking a slow scan of your body.

Noticing anything that's ready to release.

Any tension you can exhale from your forehead,

Around your eyes,

Your jaw,

Neck and shoulders,

The length of your arms,

Your whole back,

Chest and heart center,

Belly,

Thighs,

Front and back,

And calves.

Noticing your whole body relaxing in this beautiful happy place and just staying here in your body with your breath,

Breathing in the peace.

Taking our last few breaths together here,

Seeing if you can sip in any more peace,

Any more of whatever it is your body and your mind,

Your heart most need right now.

Taking your deepest,

Fullest breath of the day.

One last breath to breathe in all of the healing of this place,

Your happy place.

Gently releasing,

Beginning to introduce gentle movement back into your fingers and toes.

Maybe stretching the arms long over the body,

Full body stretch.

Breathing in gratitude to yourself for taking this time just for you.

Remember that your happy place is always here inside you whenever you need to reconnect,

Whenever you need a bit of peace.

Thank you so much for meditating with me today.
