This is a meditation to help you let go of stress, reset your energy, and feel calmer. It uses a powerful combination of meditation, body scanning, visualization, and affirmations to help you relax, and release stress & negative energy, bringing in feelings of inner peace and all-round well-being. This meditation will give you a boost in the morning or help you reconnect to yourself before bed or any time of day so you can reset your energy, creating more space for calm, motivation, gratitude, and joy.

Transcript

Sitting or lying comfortably,

Arrive in this moment and let your thoughts slowly drift away.

Become aware of the weight of your body and the support of the surface beneath you.

Notice the sensations in your body.

Start by taking a few really deep breaths,

In through the nose and out slowly through the mouth.

With each inhale,

Feel your stomach and then your chest expand.

Hold at the top for a second,

Then breathe out for longer than your inhale and notice yourself start to relax now.

Each time you breathe out,

Your muscles relax and any tension releases from your body.

Take another deep breath and feel the complete relaxation.

If your mind begins to wander,

Let the thoughts float past like clouds in the sky and gently bring your awareness back to your breathing and to the sound of my voice.

Just keep breathing and relaxing.

Notice the sensations in your body from head to toe.

Feeling yourself relax even more as you scan down through your head and your face,

Relaxing your jaw and neck deeper down through your shoulders,

Back and chest,

Your arms feeling heavier,

Deeper relaxed down through your stomach,

Your hips,

Your legs and your feet right to the end of your toes.

So relaxed,

Let it all go now.

Imagine roots growing from the base of your spine deep down into the earth,

Grounding you into this moment,

You are safe.

I want you to imagine now that you are standing at the top of a staircase.

And in a moment,

We will slowly walk down the stairs.

With each step down,

You will allow yourself to relax even more deeper and you will go even deeper into trance.

By the time you reach the floor below,

You will be deeper,

Deeper than you have ever gone before.

Take a step down now,

Down to the ninth step smoothly and easily.

Feel yourself going deeper,

Now down to eight,

Deeper still.

Now down to seven,

Six,

Even deeper and more relaxed.

Five,

Four,

With each step,

Your body becomes even more relaxed.

Three,

Two,

Deeper and deeper inside.

One,

Now you are on the floor below,

Feeling deeper and completely relaxed.

As you sit or lie there,

Listening to the sound of my voice,

Breathing deeply and focusing all of your attention inside.

Notice now the relaxing sensation of complete calmness and inner peace inside.

And you know,

Don't you,

How extremely powerful you really are.

Everything and anything will work out exactly as it's meant to,

In the best way for you.

As you relax deeper and deeper into trance,

You are beginning to feel a powerful sense of inner calm and peace.

Your subconscious mind is open and receptive to positive change.

And you are ready to let go of old patterns of negative self-talk,

Stress and self-sabotage.

Imagine yourself now in a beautiful and tranquil place,

Surrounded by nature.

You can feel the warm gentle breeze and the sun on your skin as you walk along,

Refreshing your mind,

Body and soul.

You can hear the sound of the trees blowing gently in the wind and you can feel the ground beneath your bare feet.

You come to the edge of a peaceful sparkling lake.

You notice that the water is still and calm.

The surface of the lake is like a mirror,

Reflecting the beauty of the sky and the trees that surround it.

You feel grateful and at peace.

You realise that you are like that lake.

Sometimes life can cause ripples and waves that disturb the surface of the water,

But deep down the water remains calm and still.

You are like that water and you can learn to find that sense of inner peace and calmness within yourself.

No matter what is happening on the surface,

You can handle anything that comes your way.

You realise now that you already have everything you need within you.

And you know,

Don't you,

That you can let go.

Let go of everything that's holding you back.

You can become aware of how powerful you are and the fact that you are in control of your own life.

That means that your conscious mind may notice how calm you feel while your unconscious mind is releasing and letting go of all your worries.

Or your unconscious mind can easily and effortlessly take in everything I say while your conscious mind thinks about how good it feels to be here now.

Imagine now that you are surrounded by a glowing,

Refreshing light.

It is your favourite colour.

As you breathe in this vibrant energy,

It begins to fill your body.

And as it slowly fills your body,

You feel it cleansing and clearing with each breath.

As you become even more relaxed,

You feel it flowing through every cell of your being,

Cleansing and refreshing your energy.

You can feel this energy now moving down through your head and your throat,

Replenishing every cell in your body.

Down your shoulders,

Feeling any stagnant energy release.

Moving through your heart,

Arms,

Spine and stomach.

Deeper relaxed,

Feeling the cleansing,

Light,

Filling and nourishing your body.

Down through your hips,

Your thighs,

Your calves and down,

Down to your feet.

Resetting your body,

Mind and soul.

As this healing energy flows through you,

You may notice a renewed sense of purpose and motivation.

Your unconscious mind is capable of creating powerful changes in your life.

And with each passing moment,

You feel a growing sense of joy and gratitude for the endless possibilities that await.

You are powerful.

Now,

Repeat these affirmations after me,

Inside your head or out loud,

And really feel them.

I am enough.

I am in control of my life.

I am loved.

I am protected.

I am safe.

I am a magnet for love,

Joy,

Abundance and gratitude.

Notice how good you feel.

And it's a good thing to feel so amazing.

Now imagine yourself surrounded by a beautiful,

Shiny,

Powerful and protected bubble of white loving light.

This bubble is your shield,

Protecting you from any unwanted energy.

You can become completely aware of the knowledge that this bubble is here to protect your energy any time you need it.

And as you emerge from this meditation,

You will feel calm,

Relaxed and confident in your ability to cope with whatever challenges come your way.

You will find yourself feeling refreshed,

Motivated and calm.

And now,

It is time to come back up the staircase.

You are at the bottom of the staircase.

I will count now from one to three.

And with each number I say,

Take one step up the staircase until you reach the top.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six,

Seven,

Eight,

Nine,

Ten.

Four,

Five,

Six,

Seven,

Eight,

Nine,

Ten.

You are now at the top of your staircase.

And if you're listening before bed,

Ignore the next few sentences and drift off into a comfortable,

Satisfying and deep sleep.

You'll awaken at the right time,

Feeling re-energised,

Knowing that every time you listen to this meditation,

You feel calmer,

More positive and ready to take control of your life.

But if you want to resume your day,

In a moment,

I'm going to awaken you.

When you awaken,

You will feel amazing and so ready to continue with your day,

Full of energy and enthusiasm.

You will feel simply wonderful and these feelings will continue for the rest of your day.

Start to notice the weight of your body and your breathing,

Slowly bringing your awareness back into the space around you.

I'm going to count backwards from five to one and I want you to awaken one fifth of the way with each number that I say.

Five,

Noticing the sensations in your body now.

Four,

Feeling the positive energy flowing through you.

Three,

Wriggling your fingers and your toes.

Two,

Your mind is alert.

One,

Open your eyes,

Relaxed,

Energised and feeling great.

Feeling calm and ready to continue with your day.
