This powerful meditation will allow you to sink into a space that is so blissful that you will not want it to finish. It is ideal to put on before you go to bed or if you want to spend some time connecting with your spirit increasing your self-awareness and self-compassion. Connecting with your body in such a compassionate way invites healing and reinstates a sense of ease and balance.

Transcript

Hi,

It's Jess here.

Thank you for joining me in this sacred space.

Take a moment to make yourself comfortable.

Finding a position that's right for you.

Allowing the spine to be straight and elongated at the back of the neck.

I invite you,

If you haven't already,

To begin to close your eyes.

Knowing that at any time you could open them up or leave them at a soft gaze.

I'm taking a moment to notice the support of the bed,

The chair,

Or the ground below you.

And at any stage you can bring your awareness back to the support or the sound of my voice.

Knowing that this space is safe.

And that every part of you is welcome here today.

As we take a moment to check in with our body.

Witnessing however it is in this moment.

Scanning from the top of the head down the whole body.

Piece by piece.

Noticing areas where there's tension or disease or heaviness.

And noticing where there's areas of space,

Of strength.

And there's no need to change or push anything away.

Instead,

Meeting ourselves with compassion,

However we are in this moment.

Scanning through the back of the eyes and the jaw.

Down the neck and shoulders.

The arms to the hands.

Becoming aware of the palm of the hands.

Scanning down the back,

Through the chest and the belly.

Scanning through the hips and down the legs.

All the way down to the soles of the feet.

Noticing where we're holding tension or where we have space.

Meeting ourselves with compassion,

However it is in this moment.

As we gently bring our awareness to the breath.

Noticing if the breath is short and clunky.

Or if it's deep and expansive.

And either way it's perfectly okay.

Noticing the position of the breath in the body.

Giving the breath freedom and space.

Using the breath to melt away any tension.

Breathing in that life force energy.

Allowing it to pump around our whole body.

And breathing out any tension.

Any tension in the body.

Sending that life force energy.

And breathing out any tension.

Any tension in the mind.

In the form of thoughts,

Judgements or stories.

Breathing it all out with that outward breath.

Not pushing it away.

Instead allowing it to come into our awareness.

And then letting it go with that outward breath.

Each breath out.

Surrendering a little bit more.

Letting go.

If any tension in the emotional body arises.

Inviting it in.

And then breathing it out.

Noticing the support of the ground.

Holding you.

As you allow yourself to surrender.

Knowing that you're safe.

Giving yourself permission.

To let go.

Breathing down deep into the navel center.

The place of wisdom and intuition.

Each breath out.

Surrendering a little bit more.

Allowing the muscles around the eyes to melt.

Letting go of any tension in the jaw.

Checking in and making sure the spine is nice and straight.

Allowing the shoulders to drop down away from the ears.

And taking a moment to connect with the heart center.

With the beating of the heart.

And you can choose to gently rest your awareness there.

Or you may like to place your hand on your heart.

Breathing with the heartbeat.

And the breath.

Bringing your awareness down to the navel center.

You may like to place your hand on your belly.

And feel it rise and fall.

With every breath.

Every breath out.

Letting go.

Not holding on to the breath.

No attachment to the breath.

Each breath in.

Bringing in that life force energy.

And each breath out.

Allowing you to surrender even more.

Breathing all the way down to the feet.

Letting go.

Allowing yourself to simply be the breath.

Allowing the breath to unite us with space.

The space to heal.

The space to connect with wisdom on our intuition.
