Fear is not a premonition.

It is only a feeling.

Label it as such and you remove its hold on you.

Fear can only determine your reality if you let it siphon the majority of your attention.

You can stop this.

You can contain the feeling of fear and digest it by simply giving the feeling time and space to exist.

When you contain the feeling of fear in this way,

Instead of denying it,

You make emotional space for it to settle.

Then you can authentically move forward with courage.

My belief in possibility or pessimism determines my reality.

I trust life.

I trust myself.

I trust my joy.

Life is on my side when I let myself believe that it is.

Big fear that holds us back is only a temporary feeling that is masquerading as a fact.

I will honor my feelings of fear,

But they will not be my decisions.

I am safe.

All is well in this moment,

And this moment is all that is real.

I will keep track of my attention and watch the tone of my feelings.

I will notice if attention is too attached to the past or the future,

And I will notice if the focus of my thoughts is tied to what's wrong or what's going right.

I can stay present to this moment.

I can contain my power in this way,

And I can direct my thoughts or actions if they are tied to the lack or wrongness of a circumstance.

We see what we look for.

I choose to live in the here and now and look for the good and the gratitude as much as I can.

This present moment is the only place that is real now.

My power can only be used in this moment,

So I lovingly contain my attention,

My compassion,

My strength right here to this moment.

I contain and consolidate my own power to create what is joyful and meaningful to me.

If some part of my body is out of balance or ill at ease,

I listen with curiosity and look for stress like anger,

Sadness,

Fear,

Or guilt that might have been off my radar.

I cooperate with any aches and pains and take them as an indication that I need to turn inward and contain and nurture myself more fully.

I am strong and I can do many things,

But I also have vulnerability.

My body lets me know when I need to let my foot off the strength pedal and use the self-compassion one.

I deserve love.

This is an absolute if I do not feel loved or if I feel that I am unlovable in a moment.

I only need to shift that mistaken thought within me.

My world reflects the love and the strength that I have for myself.

I deserve love.

I deserve to give love and I deserve to receive love.

I watch out for doubt of all kinds,

Doubt of myself,

Doubt of my deservingness of good things,

Doubt of my ability to create joy for myself,

And doubt that I have the power to persist and influence the now and the future.

The future is not pre-written.

I am here to do all that I can do to create joy for myself and for others.

When I feel that there is nothing I can do about a situation,

I wake up and I see that thoughts of powerlessness are actually temporary feelings of fear or sadness that are masquerading as facts.

When I am feeling powerless,

I give love to myself for a few moments and then I decide how I'm called to use my strength for myself in this moment.

When I let myself remain hopeful,

I am safe.

I don't have to create the solutions to every problem all by myself.

I am open to receiving support in all the ways that I might need.

All experiences are opportunities for learning and growth.

I refuse to be limited by my mind's imagination of what could go wrong.

I will be wise and caring for myself.

I will honor my fear and use it to be wise and savvy.

But fear will not be my stopping point.

I will move forward in spite of fear and trust in the goodness of my desire.

It is far safer to make a decision than to not.

When you don't decide and take action for what you want,

The answer is always no.

I commit to carrying myself forward.

I refuse to be a puddle.

I will carry on with my best decision.

It is my duty to take action for myself.

That means I will make the best decisions that I can,

One after another,

And I will follow them through with integrity.

That's the best that I can do.

It's safer to make decisions and take action.

I use my attention to keep my thinking clear and accurate.

I commit to staying open to opportunities that are there for the taking each day.

I am willing to learn and grow.

I am willing to recognize and redirect momentary negativity and judgment when my attention spills into it.

I allow myself to be optimistic,

Courageous,

Grateful,

And supported.

I embrace growth and change.

Life is change.

I embrace my ability to influence my life for the good,

And I embrace the grit that I am called to develop.

I move beyond past limitations.

I am free to create and fulfill my potential.

It's time.

I trust that when I keep my state balanced to the authentic here and now,

I open myself to a world of gratitude and opportunity that I cannot even see when my thoughts have spilled into blame,

Resentment,

Or out of balance fear.

I am safe.

All is well in this moment,

And this moment is all that is real.
