If you're anything like me,

Maybe you're feeling a bit of stress,

A bit of anxiety and you've just got a lot going on at the moment.

So we're just going to take the next 10 minutes to just slow down and allow ourselves to relax and just give ourselves a moment.

So I invite you to find somewhere comfortable,

It can be sitting,

Laying down,

Whatever's the best for you.

And then once you're ready,

Close your eyes and start bringing your focus to your breathing.

Are you breathing in through your nose,

Your mouth and there's no right answer here,

Whatever's just the most comfortable for you.

So let's just breathe together for a moment and just allow ourself to slow down.

As we continue,

I would just like you to acknowledge that this time is just for you.

You deserve this time away from whatever's going on to really just reconnect with yourself.

Come back to the present moment.

I just want to say you deserve this.

So,

I now want you to bring your awareness to what's going on around you.

What can you hear?

What can you smell?

What can you feel?

And just don't let it distract you from what you're doing,

But just acknowledge that those noises and those sensations are there.

I feel like often in meditation,

We can get so distracted about everything having to be perfect,

Having some super silent space.

But the funny thing is,

We can meditate in any state,

Any noises going on around us can often add to the meditation practice.

Becoming aware of those noises,

Accepting that they're there,

But still bringing it inwards.

So that's exactly what we're going to do now.

I want you to start bringing your focus to your body.

Starting right from the top of the head,

We're just going to go down.

I want you to acknowledge if there's any places that you're storing tension,

Any parts of the body that are sore,

And it's okay.

Just acknowledge that it's there and we'll travel down the body.

So starting at the head,

Just following down,

Any muscles in our face that are tight,

Are you holding tension in your jaw?

If the tongue is on the roof of your mouth,

Just allow it to draw.

Moving down,

Are you holding tension in your neck,

Your shoulders,

Just allow them to draw.

And as we continue going down,

Just allow yourself to feel deeper and deeper into a state of relaxation.

So continuing down,

Are you holding tension in your chest,

Your back,

Your stomach,

Our traveling down into your hips,

Legs,

Arms,

And all the way down to your feet.

And now take the time that you need to continue doing that.

But once you're happy that you've worked your way through your body,

Now just allow yourself to focus on all of it.

Any sensations that might be happening,

Any tingles,

Any parts of your body that you've been holding tension that are now just releasing,

Releasing all that stored energy that you've taken on throughout your day,

And just acknowledging it and allowing it to release and leave your body.

It might help to imagine some sort of color transforming and transmuting through your body,

Can be whatever color you want,

Going through all those tight spots and just releasing them,

But whatever works for you.

So let's just take a moment to do that together.

And now just to finish up,

I want you to start adding some movement to your body,

Allowing it to soften,

Release,

And just relax as you start slowly coming back to this present moment,

Becoming aware of the sounds around you,

Your body releasing,

Relaxing.

And finally,

Just to finish up,

We're just going to take two breaths together.

And as we do this,

Imagine you're breathing in all the energy that you need for the rest of your day.

And then on every out breath,

Just breathing out anything that we no longer want to hold in our body.

So let's just do that now.

Deep breath in,

And then releasing anything we don't want.

And one final one,

Deep breath in,

And then releasing it all.

Now I invite you to open your eyes and enjoy the rest of your day.
