This 8-minute guided meditation is a grounding ritual you can return to daily, or whenever you need to pause and reconnect with the living energy of the Earth. Through embodied somatic awareness, you’ll connect with your breath, release resistance and tension, and channel strength and renewal into your whole being. A complete and restorative practice for moments when you want to realign with your core and meet life from a place of balance and strength.

Welcome,

Welcome.

As we arrive in this space together,

I invite you to get comfortable,

To release any expectations and to take a deep breath,

Filling our lungs as much as possible and exhaling fully.

And if you haven't done so already,

I invite you to close your eyes.

Continuing to breathe deeply,

As we inhale,

We are expanding with our breath.

And as we exhale,

We are releasing,

Letting go.

As we inhale,

Growing,

Stretching,

Expanding.

As we exhale,

Letting go,

Releasing and relaxing.

And so whatever is going on in this life,

This day,

This moment,

Outside of this space,

We're giving ourselves permission to let that be.

We are cultivating a sacred space,

A sacred bubble,

Perhaps a circle of light that comes around us.

And just noticing the color,

Noticing if this bubble,

This light,

Shimmers,

Sparkles.

And so within this space,

We are cultivating sacred energy.

We're calling in an intention,

Perhaps for relaxation,

Perhaps for a moment to pause,

To notice.

Perhaps there is something that we are honoring in this space within ourselves.

This is your practice.

So I invite you to honor it in whatever way feels comfortable and intuitive to you.

Feeling ourselves really connected to the core of our being,

Without any attachments,

Without ego,

Without identity,

Without conditions.

Just the core of our being,

Connecting with our breath,

Releasing anything that we do not need to hold on to,

And allowing it to flow back beneath us into the earth.

So whether we are sitting on a chair,

A bed,

A pillow,

Or the earth itself,

Feeling that connection,

Feeling the earth rise up to support our bodies.

And as we feel that connection,

Allowing ourselves to relax a little bit more,

To get a little bit heavier,

To feel into that support and start to merge into it.

So the boundary between us and the earth starts to fade,

Starts to blur a little bit.

Feeling really connected and grounded,

Feeling rooted,

Taking a deep inhale,

Exhaling,

Releasing.

And as we inhale,

Calling up that sacred earth energy into our whole being,

Permeating through our atoms,

Through ourselves,

Through our energy.

Just feeling ourselves renewed,

Feeling ourselves strong,

Supported.

Continuing to breathe deeply,

Allow this energy to integrate through us,

This sacred co-creative energy of the earth.

So allowing ourselves to move,

To express,

Perhaps we hum,

Perhaps we breathe faster or slower,

Perhaps we sing.

Allowing ourselves to continue to breathe,

To move,

To express in whatever way feels comfortable.

And noticing how that feels,

Noticing any shifts,

Noticing that deep connection with this vital life force energy.

Feeling any shifts in our emotions,

Feeling any shifts in any pressure that we have been holding on to,

Feeling any shifts in our mind,

Our thoughts.

And just knowing in this moment that we are deeply supported,

That we are deeply connected.

We are an expression of the earth.

We are an earth body and within us we hold this vital earth energy,

This vital life force energy,

Channeling,

Moving through our body,

Expressing effortlessly.

And as we prepare to move back into this day,

Knowing that we can continue to feel grounded,

To feel connected,

Rooted,

Strong,

Supported.

Taking a deep inhale and sighing that breath out nice and long.

Doing that one more time,

Inhale deeply,

Inhale a little bit more,

And sighing that breath out nice and long.

Allowing ourselves to stretch our arms out.

Before we open our eyes,

I invite you to honour yourself.

Honour yourself for taking this moment to pause,

To slow down,

To connect.

Honouring the earth,

The spirit of the earth,

Our great mother.

Go raibh míle maith agat.

A thousand thank yous.

Go raibh agus bonachtaí.

Love and blessings.

Beginning to open our eyes,

Arriving back into this space.
